not hemmedWe would have happily corrected any fault with our work given the chanceI do understand that we are the only dry cleaner in the community and we must act above reproach at all times, and I am so very sorry that this happenI understand that prom is a very important and stressful time for everyoneWould you please accept a credit of your entire bill credited to your accountPlus an additional $for the inconvenience

Regards,
[redacted] Dear Revdex.com and W & W cleaners,First, I don't appreciate being lied to about not knowing who called me.  I did some research and the woman  who called me did so from her landline NOT the business.  Second, asking your company to "fix" the dress, you have to understand that I had little confidence in the job being done when you business told me the dress would take two weeks and I had to physically go into the business to get the dress after three weeks ( which I questioned at the time if it was hemmed and was told yes it was ).  With my daughters Senior prom only three days away I felt I needed to find someone who would hold up to their promise on a deadline.  You mentioned in your response that prom is a stressful time.  I have five children and this is the last prom so I have lots of experiences with prom and trust me I don't get "stressed" over them.  I DO get stressed when I am three days away and the services were not done as agreed.  Last, as for money..........NO I do not want any money from you.  This was NOT about money.  This was about the treatment I received AND the voice message I received on my home phone THREATENING me that if I told anyone about the work she would sue me!!  I co-owned and operated a service business for nineteen years and NEVER treated a customer this way.  You should be ashamed of yourself for this type of business behavior.  What I would like as a settlement is for the SAME woman to call my home phone and apologize to me for her behavior.

Review: My daughter took her prom dress to be hemmed. Was told 2 weeks. After 2 weeks we kept calling to get the dress. No dress. I physically went in after 3 weeks to get the dress. I questioned as to if the dress was actually hemmed. Told yes. Trying it on at home the front satin was hemmed but not the netting overlaid which dragged on the ground 3-4 inches. The back of the dress was not touched. Had to find someone else to repair it overnight because the prom was 3 days away. I called and complained to the business about the quality of work. Told the employee is wasn't her fault but please pass on to the manager (not there). Manager called me next day starting off conversation accusing me of cursing and when I told her I didn't she continued to be vocal. Never apologized or offered to correct. I hung up on her. She called me back twice to start in again. I was forced to take my phone off the hook. I co-owned a service business for 19 years and never a Revdex.com complain. This is not how you talk to a customer. Not only was the workmanship poor but the treatment afterward was inexcusable.Desired Settlement: Would like an apology for the workmanship and the harassment afterward. She never did say anything about fixing the dress or I am sorry this happened. That is poor business. I know personally that my customers came first. I would always make good on my services and for the inconvenience. I feel that since they are the only dry cleaner in my town that they feel they can behave this way due to demand of services. Thank You

Response:

I am so very sorry that you were treated this way. This certainly is not our policy and I don't know who called you. I would like to personally apologize for your treatment. After looking into the dress you were charged for hemming 2 of the 5 layers. Again, I do not know why the tulle layers were not hemmed. We would have happily corrected any fault with our work given the chance. I do understand that we are the only dry cleaner in the community and we must act above reproach at all times, and I am so very sorry that this happen. I understand that prom is a very important and stressful time for everyone. Would you please accept a credit of your entire bill credited to your account. Plus an additional $20 for the inconvenience.
