Review: [redacted] with WBI Services was hired by our property manager to do cleaning and repairs to the rental property we have. We were told 4-5 people would spend a full day in the home, deep cleaning and doing repairs. Repairs were to include replacing a broken bathroom fan, repairing a drip in a shower, installing a knob on a hall closet door, touching up paint on a scuffed wall, and sanding and re-staining the windowsills. When my husband and myself entered the home to check on the work, we found the windowsills had been painted brown right over top of the existing stain (no sanding first), with paint seeped onto the walls and dripped on the granite counter in two places. The closet door knob and the bathroom fan had not been dealt with, nor had any paint touch up been done. As far as any deep cleaning goes, there was a large sticky area on the kitchen counter, footprints on the entryway floor, and a layer of dust over all surfaces that was more fitting with being there for the month and a half since we had moved, not in the four days since he'd supposedly cleaned. The crew of 4-5 people turned out to be a crew of just [redacted] which makes his price of $850 extremely unreasonable, especially considering much of what was promised was left incomplete or done in ways that were not agreed upon. We informed our property manager of our findings and she came out soon after, and agreed the work was incomplete and said she would have him return. It took almost a month, at which point the closet door knob was installed and the scuffed paint was "repaired", apparently by smudging green Sharpie (very different shade of green from the wall color) into the scuffed areas. The bathroom fan was still not replaced. He has also claimed work in the home that we did ourselves, or saw family members do for us. His itemized invoice even states cleaning stairs, and there are no stairs in the home. Windows were left with streaks, home was still dusty, floors still had dirt and footprints near doors.

We acknowledge he cleaned behind the fridge and the oven, that he vacuumed the carpets, replaced the closet door knob, and repaired the drip in the main shower. Any other deep cleaning of appliances and bathrooms had been done prior (we have people who are willing to testify to that fact), and the "repairs" [redacted] made in regards to paint touch up, and also painting versus staining the windowsills, we consider damage. We would like to pay for the actual work done, minus the damage.
