On 1/24/12 I traded in my Chevy S10 it was a 2002, in return I got a 2000 Chevrolet Silverado that only had 43,000 miles on it. This made the third vehicle my girlfriend and I had purchased from ([redacted]), after the first week of owning my Silverado, the 4X4 service light kept coming on so I took it in for service at Drennens. They replaced a transfer case mode switch that was bad. They did this at no charge. But they also told me that the truck also had a bad rear U Joint and the motor for the drive side window was bad. But I would need to pay for these things to be repaired. I did buy the U Joint and they charged me $70.61 to replace it. After that I took my truck to ([redacted]) to have everything checked out. The ([redacted]) Auto Center not only found that the truck needed a new window motor, it also needed four new tires the ones that were on it was below 222/32 unsafe to be on the highway. They also found that it needed the idler arm and bracket replaced and the pitman arm. So I called ([redacted]) one of the salemen that sold me this truck, at first he offered to give me two new tires and I could buy the outher two from Drennens at their price. But the very next day ([redacted]) called and told me he had a $200.00 check for me, instead of the new tires. So I took the check went back to ([redacted]) and payed to have 4 new tires put on my truck, that cost me right around 800.00 dollars, on the outher things ([redacted])found wrong with my turck. Drennens refused to make those repairs for me. I was told by the two salemen that sold me the truck it was in A-1 condition, I ask ([redacted])for a carfax. He said they diden do one on that truck. He also told me it hadn't even been inspected by their service dept. This was all after I had already purchased the truck. I sent ([redacted]) Drennen a certified letter asking him to please make the repairs needed on my truck. But I never received a reply. So I went back and spoke with Mr. ([redacted]) the sales mgr. He said I would need to pay for any further repairs that they were done with my truck. All this took place within the 30 day warranty. My truck is now at ([redacted]) Auto repair here in ([redacted]) where I'm having everything wrong with it fixed, and its going to cost right around $808.46. I paid $17,000 dollars for that truck and I diden think I would be paying out over a 1000 dollars for repair. I'm disabled and these repair bills are taking just about everything we have in the bank. I diden think Drennens would do me like this because I've been a good customer. I've even sent family members over to his lot to buy cars.
