Review: This is a 2nd complaint for the same business and reason - the issue has never resolved. issues w/flooring put down 2 years ago in April - the owner Wade finally himself came out and agreed our floor should not be cracking as loud as they are -he sent his floor man out and they agreed. He told my husband he spoke to manufacturer and no problem they would keep care of it to come in and pick out new flooring this was back in November 2013 we did same - when got to shop we were told by his "employee" that wasn't true and nothing had been decided" we were very much upset. after several phone calls wade called my husband and said the floor manufacture along with an engineer would be out. Dec 2 2013 a engineer came out was there 45 minutes or so took pics/measures and said he would hear from him with in 2 weeks and the company and wade should be back with us. We waited through the holidays through the 1st of the year - through Valentine day -through March through April and now this is on the ridiculous side - We knew it probably would take several weeks maybe a 6-8 to determine how they would handle - I called Wade on 4/24 - begged him to call whether he knew anything or not. My husband went by the shop the next day 4/25 and was told he was not there would be back on Monday. Todate no return call it has been a week yesterday. I don't expect a call. I don't expect this business to stand behind anything they have done either their work nor their product. This is absolute the worst customer service I have ever encountered and we spent approximately $16,500 for the flooring and kitchen counters and that to us is lot and for this business to lack the care to follow through with us is unbelievableDesired Settlement: we need to hear the decision from the manufacture on how they wish to proceed (we understand from Wade he has had other complaints with this same flooring)and then let us make our decision if we wish to have all flooring replaced with other than this manufacture flooring at the similar cost or if we don't want to go through the headache of having all flooring replaced given a % of refund back to compensate the issue that we are having.

An inspection was completed on 12/3/13 at [redacted], Stuarts Draft, VA. The flooring was installed in June 2012. The problem was stated as "noisy when walked on" and it was noticed 2 months after installation was complete.

The inspection determined that the noise concern was minimal at time of inspection due to time of year and the corrections that have already been made.

No signs of manufacturing defect were identified during the inspection. Product warranty coverage does not apply to installation and job site related concerns. To insure the noise concern does not re appear next summer expansion space should be cut at the areas identified in the report. (see attached)

First I would like to thank Revdex.com for contacting Wade Floor Covering and obtaining the engineer's inspection results. We can see by the date of the report that Wade had the the results by early December and failed to relay them on to us. Only after failed returned calls and wasted visits to the store that we had to seek outside assistance.

As my husband tried to relay to Wade and his crew it appears that his thoughts were accurate in that the floor was laid to tight.

Our response is that Wade needs to contact my husband [redacted] @ [redacted] set up a time for his crew to come to the house to show us what procedure the engineer is recommending. Only then will we decide if too evasive to complete. If not, we want a contract written up by Wade to explain what their plan is and there will be no costs to us and if any damage is done they would be solely responsible and that the work will be done within a reasonable time period.

If we decide that we have too many concerns with the procedure and the integrity of the business to do the work, we are requesting a return of $2500 for costs paid due to improper install.

Per our phone conversation on Friday, Wade the owner of Wade Floor Covering did not stand up to his word. He told my husband on the Monday before the 4th of July he would call us after the holiday weekend with a scheduled time for his crew to come by.

As you and I discussed, we would still like Wade to come out an show and explain the engineer's suggestion. If we decide we don't want that work done, we would like to discuss a settlement no less than $2500.00.

We both are exhausted with the situation and want this over with at least some type of consideration to us.

As you and I discussed on Friday, we did discuss the matter with our attorney's office back in December. The issue with going through an attorney is paying out additional monies.

We believe realistically that we are probably not going to get anywhere with this business. If he isn't following up with after this second complaint, he doesn't care.
