I have reviewed the response offer made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
From our first call to Mr Shepherd we were told he would hookup everything including electric and plumbing for an additional and this was after he was given the address where it would be movedHe also went to the site where the trailer was to be moved prior to moving it so he knew it was *** ***Had he stated he was not licensed to do electric and plumbing in *** *** we would have merely gotten someone who was licensed to do the workWe would never pressure nor want anyone to do what they were not licensed to doThat's the reason I called Mr Shepherd from the planning office while obtaining the necessary permits for the move, to get his business license number that they needed for their records.Since he did not state that he was not licensed we were lead to believe he would do those hookups alsoWhen we made repeated calls to him leaving messages after he moved the trailer it was to get him to complete the work he had been paid to doThey never filled the footers back in and we were told they would come back that Monday to finish that and to hook us upOnce again he never mentioned he could not do the hook ups.We were left with a mess to complete and much time and expense spent finding someone to do what he should have completedHe should have had the courtesy to call and explain that he would not be coming back to hook us up because he actually wasn't licensed to do that then we could have immediately started looking for someone who was licensed to do the hookupsBut there was no excuse for him not to complete the job he was paid to do and fill in the footersWe had to pay others to complete his job

Shepherds Mobile Home Movers told *** and Mr*** that we were not licensed in *** ** to hook up electric, plumbing or sewer They kept asking me to do it anyway, and I told them I wouldn't do anything my license would not allow me to do They did keep calling me the following
week I talked to them once they asked me again to hook up the water, sewer and electric And I told them I can't legally do it They kept calling for a day or two and Robert Shepherd ignored their calls
