Sep/I delivered my functional boat for the following: Winterization, Tune up, Oil Change, Fuel Sender replacement, Upholstery work, Propeller replacement, Replace a broken board Rack, Full InspectionThe boat was finally ready for pickup Mar/When put in the water Jun/there was no power and the engine would stallProblem was reported to WWS and they suggested for the boat to be brought backAfter weeks of no contact I called them and they said they were waiting on a new ECU, week after they said they were waiting on a wire harness since the ECU was not the issueAt that time I picked up the boat due to lack of communication and no resolution After troubleshooting I have found that the power problem was caused by them installing an incorrectly sized propeller, installed the old one and boat power is backAlso found that neither spark plugs, spark plug wires or distributor cap had been replaced which is normally part of a tune upAfter replacing the spark plugs

I have decided to go ahead and provide *** *** with a refund for the full amount he has requested of $1,provided he return the propeller to us in like new condition. I have beenin business for years and this is the only time I ever recall not being able to find a solution with a customer face to face. We pride ourselves on customer service and have won the #Awardfor CSI (Customer Satisfaction Index) from ***' many times through the years. We consider the families sold boats to over the past years to be part of our ***' family and when I have aa customer with an issue we are very focused to get them taken care of. The boat owned by ** *** was not purchased from us nor do we have any history form its' year time on the water.This said I will give *** *** the refund amount he has asked for. have come to an agreement with him on all of this.  Here is what I will do for certain, I will gladly refund the $700 for the incorrect prop that was sold to him.  With regard to the other items this is what I know so far, the tune up kit consists of cap, rotor and spark plugs.  Wires are not part of this and never get changedunless they are damaged.  These items were changed and the labor to do them is accurate.  His claims about sitting for 2 weeks are true and completely normal in this business and the fact that he did not attempt to use the boat until late June before detecting the problems is not our fault.  Please note this is not a final response and I will close this statement now due to the 30 minute time limit.  I will behappy to work with [redacted] to come to an agreement. [redacted]
