I am writing on behalf of *** ***, owner of Waldorf Laundromat (3530 Leonardtown Rd.,Waldorf, Md20602)In regards to a letter she received pertaining to a complaint to your office, ID number ***English is not her first language and she asked my husband and myself to help her with this matter, to explain what happened with said customerShe said that the gentleman had put his laundry in one of the Extra Large (Mega) washers then added the amount of $Then, he decided after, that he did not need that size washer and transferred his clothes into a size smaller washer and added $to that washerThe laundromat has a printed Warning and Rules sign clearly posted, on both sides, in Large letters in clear view of the whole laundromatAnd security camerasThe customer got angry because he thought he deserved his money back for both washers even though, it was his choice to add money and then change machines afterIf you load machines you can clearly see the steps on how to useIf you add laundry and see it is too big or too small (following the steps shown) you can change machines prior to adding moneyThe laundromat has many machines for a variety of load types and sizes and someone is always around to help if neededThe machines range from small loaders ($2.00)to Mega ($5.50)The dryers cost 25cents per minutesMy husband spoke to you this morning, 12-2-16, while we were at the LaundromatYou had said to email, however, Mrs*** does not have an email account and we volunteered to help on her behalfShe wanted to let you know she has been owner for that Laundromat for 17years and has a good reputation and alot of repeat customersShe does not have a problem refunding money to those that follow the rulesShe has even helped us in the past when a washer or dryer didn't work properly she would have us transfer our laundry to a working machine and she pays the amount we put into machine to continue our washing/dryingWe have been going to that laundromat off and on for about years ourselvesWe rarely have issues (maybe 2x in all those years) and for the last yrs we have been there every weeksThe Large sign in the Laundromat clearly states " Money lost due to NOT following instructions will not be refunded"I am going to print a copy of this email for Mrs*** *** prior to emailing so she has a copy and she asks that if you need further information feel free to write her at Laundromat address (stated above)If need a sooner response you may email me back as wellI live in the area of the laundromat and pass it daily to take family to workI can print any info needed or concerns and take it to her at the laundromat.
