On the day of October 22nd, 2015 around 10:00 a.m. Ms. [redacted] came to Walker Farms fruit stand and bought some of our pecans, a few were cracked so that she could see what she was getting. She was told that they were the first to fall off the tree and was given the pecans at a discounted price of a dollar a pound. She was happy with what she saw, even stating that it was exactly what she was looking for. Around 6:00 p.m. she came back with hulls and only a few pecans in the bag, when she demanded a refund we looked at the pecans and realized there were only hulls and the few pecans in the bag were not even the quality of the ones we sold her. We told her we would not refund her for the pecans because they were not the quality of the pecans she left with and the rest was not there.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.The statement provided by Walker Farms is false. No pecans were cracked. I took his word when he stated they were good and oily pecans. I had planned to buy more from him as I wanted 200 lbs. I carried the pecans to [redacted] to have them cracked and blown. When I picked them up the man showed me there were only around 5 lbs of good pecans. The others were hulls, rotten or dried up pecans. I had him bag the bad ones so I could show Walker Farms. I carried both bags by the produce stand. I showed the man and he started right off saying those were not his. I never asked for a refund and he never offered a solution. I left all pecans with him and told him I would be contacting Revdex.com and putting it on facebook.
