Thank you very much for talking to me last week concerning
the complaint we received
We have never had a complaint filed before and to be honest
the whole incident was very disconcerting
You had ok'd for me to forward you all the e-mails we had received and sent, which I will definitely do under a separate e-mail. My apologies I do not know how to combine the two
Our side of the incident is as follows:
I work in close proximity to all of our employees, and I over heard
my employee taking the order from the gentleman. She assured him it would be delivered today, would go later in the day after all
the funeral work was delivered.
She also explained to him that we did not have the green chrysanthemum mums but would replace with green hydrangas (which is an upgrade), she also stated we did not have orange spray roses, but would use Peach roses in replace. He was acceptable for the late day delivery and the substitutions she explained. As for the other arrangement it was in fact done exact
to the receipe, I will concede the roses do look red in the photo but they were a deep hot pink the name of the roses are Geems Star spray roses. The flowers were prepared and delivered
I left the store late that day and check my e-mail around 6:P.MI received his e-mail and attempted to call him on his cell phone
There was no answer and I left a message, I then immediately sent him an e-mail, stating as you can read that I was sorry he was not
happy and I would retrieve the arrangements and give him a full refund
I received no response from e-mail or message on his cell
The next morning around 9:I phoned the recipients again apologized for any problem, assured them I would credit the customer and asked to please place the flowers outside and I would have my driver pick up. About minutes later I received a
phone call from the mother who began the conversation very
irate that I would ask for the flowers back. She informed me she worked for a flower shop and if there were wilted flowers or dead
flowers they would either refund or replace the flowers. After talking with her a few minutes she admitted there was nothing wrong with the flowers they were "lovely", she just did
not understand why I would pick them up. I explained she even
said there was nothing wrong with the flowers, if I gave refunds and let people keep the flowers I would be out of business in a short
time. She did think I would bring them back and resell them, I quite honestly told her I would take them home, there was nothing wrong with them and again she agreed. By the end of the conversation, she was understanding told me she would call her daughters boyfriend and let him know. All of these conversation took about minutes from start to finish.
I will be honest I receive a very small percentage of complaints, I just could not see giving a credit on perfectly fine products. Picking up a problem delivery is a practice of most flower shops, (I actually
asked fellow florist after this because I was starting to think I was
getting mean)
In conclusion, the flowers were picked up sometime after 12:but
before 2:because that is our Saturday closing time. I had told *** in the e-mail that I would refund his full amount after the flowers were returned. I actually processed the credit at 10:a.mthe same day.
In retrospect I guess I should have told him that the credit card companys always take a few days to reflect credits back on credit cards through the e-mail
I took pictures of both the arrangements and will try to send those also to your e-mail.
I hope this explains our side. If you should have any questions,
please feel free to contact me at ###-###-####
Thank You,
*** Wallace

Revdex.com:
Hi [redacted]
After looking through the business's response, much of it is just their defense to poor quality. I have spoken to several individuals who think they were terrible, including someone whom had them do a wedding. Likewise, two other local flower shops I went to after.. both said they receive the complaints and thereafter business from Wallace Flowers. First off, as stated, they did tell me they would have to put green hydrangas to substitute. However, it was NEVER stated to me that they would be peach roses. Likewise, there were all of one or two of them in the arrangement and nothing like the picture. Also, throughout speaking to [redacted] she said she would need to talk to her decorator regarding this to see what was done, so clearly she is lying when stating "she overheard her telling me these things". In regards to her follow up, she did call me and by the time I got out of work it was to late in the evening. Upon getting up the next day she had already taken the liberty to call the giftees and tell them to put the flowers outside, before I even had a chance to tell them they were going to be refunded for not what I ordered. [redacted] did talk to [redacted], but rather than bring replacements or offer any sort of fix, the solution was to leave them outside for a refund and that was it. As stated, there was "nothing wrong" with the flowers, that is correct. They weren't dead or wilting. They just were not what I paid $100.00 for nor were they pretty or anything like the pictures. To quote both daughters, a neighbor, and the proceeding flower shop "They look like funeral flowers". Furthermore, I find it highly disgusting that for two orders of flowers going to the same place, they charge two for shipping. After using two other shops thereafter, only one shipping charge was accrued for multiple baskets to multiple people. I order arrangements frequently and the one time I use elsewhere in a pinch, I received poor quality for way overpriced items, on a business that solution is "we don't have it, but we told you we'd put in" which is fraud in my opinion. I'd never do business with again, and after hearing other horror stories and unsatisfied individuals during the telling of my experience, this clearly isn't a quality place and I am sorry they feel they are.
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and find that this resolution is satisfactory to me.
Regards,

Review: By far the worst flower shop I have ever had the displeasure of doing business with. I ordered 2 flower arrangements.. one for a very ill individual and a second just for a general "I love you". Upon the arrival of the flowers I went over to take a look at them. The first set was to contatin pink roses, a pink polka dot ribbon, and pink vase. I got red roses, the correct ribbon, and a square clear jar. The seond arrangement was to contact orange spray roses, purple carnations, and a mixture of this pretty green plant (which I cant remember what it was) and got none of the above. I got these horribly cheap looking replacements. Upon emailing them, the owner messaged back and told me they no longer use the pink vase because it was too small and she had to update her site (should have been told that). She said the roses were probably hot pink (which they were not.. MAYBE one or two of them you could call that). The other basket she said they ran out of a few things and that I got something better which I didnt. The basket had nothing the same nor looked like their online order.. she said she would have to talk to the decorator. *They didnt even look good, before mentioning anything my girlfriends family and neighbors laughed at how much I spent and how bad they looked* The owner said she in the email she would refund me but would pick them up in the morning. Before I had a chance to wake up or respond to her, they had called the recipient, and told her to sit the flowers outside. No offer to fix them, just a we want them back then you'll get your money. My Fiance's mother called them and complained to which [redacted], the owner, said she would have them picked up. The mother asked what she would do with them and thats the most ridiculous thing she had ever heard. She said "she would take them home because there was nothing wrong with them". True there was nothing "wrong" with the flowers themselves.. just the mns who assembled them. There may be nothing wrong with them, except its not what I ordered or spent $100.00 on? She also made sure to tell her that I emailed and belittled her..... which I did not? I told her the poor quality, me not receiving what I had asked, and requested a refund. Like another reviewer says "only place to not get my order right". So true. If you are spending the money I would advise to go to [redacted]'s or even down to [redacted] and make your own bouquet. Also, still waiting on my refund after they removed them from the recievers house. [redacted] is highly unprofessional, not helpful, and if this experience was any sign of their business practice I would be nothing but ashamed. Buyer beware.Desired Settlement: Refund (which I have not yet received) and a replacement.
