Wallingford Auto Park is the very best place to buy a used car. They really take care of their customers. I bought a car from them and no fault of theirs the transmission went. When I brought the car in they gave me enough money to pay off my existing loan and I bought a new car from them. They were under no obligation to do this but without asking they did this for me, I was so grateful. I drove home that day in my new car.
All I can say is I am still astounded that they would do this for me !
Ask for Manny - he sold me both cars and offered good, sound advice when I asked! Their service department is great as well, they also talked to me about the best car for me based upon cost of repair and reliability! I would not hesitate to recommend them to anyone!

Complaint #9on 11/5/2013

by Wendell Thigpen

This 2012 Nissan Maxima was last worked on at Wallingford Auto Park on 5/29/2013 and had 30,203 miles. The work on the given date entailed an oil change and oil filter

replacement. If the oil pan drain plug was discovered to be stripped at the time of service at Wallingford Auto Park, we would have addressed and repaired

the issue at that time. We would not let one of our customers leave our service department with a stripped oil drain plug. In an effort to satisfy our customer, we gladly offered to repair the stated problem at a reduced cost o Mr. Thigpen. Since bringing the issue to our attention, he has not visited our establishment or scheduled

an appointment with our service department. In the future ,

we would welcome Mr. Thigpen for any service needs he may have at a discounted

rate, should he choose to continue business with us.

I am rejecting this response because: the 2012 Maxima was purchased from Wallingford Auto Park in December 2012, and no one else worked on the car besides Wallingford Auto Park. I will reiterate: any type of service repairs or adjustments in relation to the oil pan should be done free of charge to my satisfaction.

Sincerely,

Wendell Thigpen

Review: I wanted a vehicle , felt coerced to purchase a vehicle that has alot of issues discovered while test driving it . The vehicle was not even a week old and already needs 3-4000 in repair . I obtained a loaner vehicle that smells like feet . I told dealership that I want a different vehicle and now batting zero . We try to do our best and provide the best possible product and service to all of our customers before and after the sale. For the record, there was some communication between Wallingford Auto Park and the customer after the sale, and by no means was the customer treated any differently because of his country of origin. Review: I purchase a [redacted] from Wallingford Auto Park in July 2010. In Dec 2010 I was almost killed on 91 when the car lost acceleration. I contacted Wallingford Auto explained my situation and they wanted me to bring the car in. I brought the car in and serval months later they could not find the problem. I did purchase the extended warranty but that did not help. [redacted] the manger explained to me that my warranty with the dealership ended three weeks prior to the event. I contacted the manufacture and they were not able to assist me. I had the vehicle for 4 months. I contacted the DMV which contacted the manger of Wallingford Auto; at that time he stated all he could do was give me another car. I wanted another [redacted] he stated that it would take him a month to get me another one; I was ok with waiting as long as I was able to have a loaner car. He would not let me use his loaner car to get back and forth to work. At that time I asked if he could give me money back for the [redacted] and I could go to a [redacted] dealer to get the car I wanted he would not do that. He forced me to purchase a 07 Nissan [redacted] off his lot and charged me $2000.00 finders fee again. I have recently found out that this car has been in a horrible accident. I had to get body work done and that is how I was notified of this. The front steering rod has to be replaced which is going to cost me over $2000.00 after spending over $1000.00 in work already. I was informed by Nissan dealership of this and work of this nature is done when collisions happens. Wallingford Auto Park has ruined my life. It has messed up my budget plan for three years. Taking me from a comfortable car payment to an outrageous car payment. [redacted] refused to purchase the [redacted] back at what he sold it to me as 21,000 he brought it back from me as a trade in for 16,000.00; placing 5000.00 more onto the 07 [redacted]. A [redacted] that was in a accident and has been nothing but trouble for me.Desired Settlement: I would like Wallingford Auto Park to get me out of this [redacted];refund me my 4000.00 and place my down payment on my [redacted] that I was suppose to have at my dealership of choice.

The 20[redacted] you originally purchased on 7/30/2010 with

In March 2011 you shopped our inventory and on March 9, 2011,

you decided to purchase a 2007 Nissan [redacted] from Wallingford Auto Park for

$24,900 and we took in trade your 20[redacted] G37 for $22,000 and paid off

your loan balance of $22,000. This

We presented you the 2007 Nissan [redacted] and you made the

decision to buy the [redacted]. We DO NOT

force people into buying cars. Customers

are presented with our current inventory and customers choose the car they want

to purchase.

It is now April 29, 2014 and it has been 3 years. Our warranty was over after 60 days or 3,000

miles. We cannot offer you a $4,000

refund after 3 years. However, I

apologize if the [redacted] has not been a reliable car for you and while I

understand you do not want to buy your next car here, I would like to see if I
