The vehicle was towed in last summer with compliant of vehicle revving up but will not move. Upon inspection of vehicle we found transmission was full of fluid but fluid had a burnt smell. Vehicle would not move forward or backward in any gear. After replacing transmission in vehicle it was towed to...

dealership for computer flashing. The dealer never mentioned anything about a transmission fluid leak either. The vehicle then returned to our shop on 7/14 for a Virginia State Insp. the customer never mentioned the transmission was leaking or any issue with transmission. The state inspector never seen an transmission leaks on vehicle. The vehicle was brought back a second time on 12/4/14 and a CV axle was replaced the customer never mentioned any transmission leaks. The mechanic never seen any transmission leaks when replacing the front CV axle. The customer came in on 3/13/15 with a transmission line leak and was very rude, I tried several times to explain that if the line had been leaking we were never notified and the vehicle had been in several times since the transmission was replaced and the mechanics never seen any transmission fluid leak. The lines were not leaking when vehicle was brought in so it was not nessacery to replace them. The customer was not charged for the lines when the transmission was replaced either. I do not feel our business should refund the any part of the money to the customer due to the problem not present till eight months later. If the lines had been leaking for eight months the transmission would of been burnt up do to lack of fluid. Thank You,

Thank You,

Review: Last summer Wally's Automotive replaced the transmission in my work vehicle. Upon receiving the vehicle with a new transmission, the vehicle continued to leak transmission fluid due to a faulty transmission line that was not replaced when the new transmission was put in the vehicle. Wally himself stated the original transmission was burned up because it had no fluid in it. I took the vehicle back to have the line replaced hoping they would warranty at least the labor for replacing the line. Wally's replaced the line and refused to warranty the labor. While I discussed this problem with the secretary at the front desk, she became irritated and stated, "I'll go get Wally. He's the one who did the labor. I don't have a damn dime in it and I'm sick of hearing you [redacted] Wally was present during the discussion and did not address the employee's use of foul language. I paid the labor charge, told her how dissatisfied I was with her unprofessionalism as well as the service provided, and left.Desired Settlement: An apology along with a refund of labor charges would be greatly appreciated.
