Warren Midtown Motors Reviews (2)

Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below [redacted] [redacted] Attention: Ms [redacted] Re: Chart Complaint submitted on 11/3/Complaint ID [redacted] Dear Ms [redacted] This is in response to your letter dated 11/6/I agree with Mr [redacted] General Manager of Midtown MotorsWe, my partner and I did visit the dealership in March of and we also filled out an application for creditI understand the plain ignorance of discrimination and it does not bother me, I am to old for lack of educated peopleMy major complaint is they stole money by lies and deception and think they can get away with it What I am most concerned about is the white color crime of theft by deceptionAccording to **, our salesmen, a representative from the bank was in the office, a big sale has just ended that day and this was the only truck leftHe told us we could get this truck for a lot less then what we did, he began the negotiators and gave us a price, he gave us a price, we did not offerWe then filled out a credit applicationThen he came back and the sales manager raised the priceHe then went back and then came back and began the finance negotiationsI found this odd because this was the job of the Finance Manager He said that day there were many representatives in the buildingAnd we were lucky because there was a repin the building at this timeThis bank that was there agreed to finance our loan if we agreed to another $which was to be paid to themWe reluctantly agreed but because of the need for the vehicle we signed the contractIt turned out the bank was [redacted] Financing whom I did call later to find out if the fee was paid We were told by **, then later the finance manager, “You will get the loan and they require you to pay an $fee before you can receive the loan ** told usI am well aware that there are lending institutions that require a fee; I was in the business for years in CaliforniaHowever, **’s words were not “they may require”, his words were “They do require $for a fee and we will give you the vehicle” This is what ** told us as we were negotiating the dealI believe you will see the truth when you get the documentation the deal was penciled onThey have itI also worked in the back office and you will see that the documentation is there, it has to be it is a legal documentWe had to postdate a check because of the fact of the “bank fee” I emailed the dealership regarding this matter but received no response, and a year later I went into Midtown Motors because the situation played heavily on my mindI was robbed of money because the color of my partners skin, our sexuality or maybe just because they are crooks; why does not matter to now; all I know is they stole my money by deceit and plain liesAfter no response internet I went into the dealership to clear things upWith Mr [redacted] he showed me several other deals that he said, “I am not supposed to show you this” then he shows me where he paid a bank fees on these deals, but not mine, and this is where we pay the bank, in this manorI ask him where my deal/packet was; he replies “I could not find it at the time”After no satisfaction I called [redacted] Finance, the representative that handled the area they told me they knew nothing about the fee and they were never there at the time of the deal I wanted to pursue this further but my partner, asked me not to pursue it at the timeHe feared his truck would be tampered with or something so I agreed to his requestNot we have moved out of the state I am pursuing it again Ms [redacted] , if you read in the letter that Mr [redacted] sent, you will see he did not state “the fee was paid” he states that they said “you may have to pay the fee” he knew we had been told and now is playing on words by trying to deceive us of what was really saidWe were told the “fee must be paid and they paid the bank” I think if the paperwork is examined the truth will be know The repair on the truck, the reason I brought that to your attention is because we were told that the truck was recently inspected, days before we purchase it, and it was in excellent condition, again, another lie, this truck was a dangerous trapThis was just a way to show the honesty and truthfulness of the Salesmen and his Sales Manager, they weren’t truthful, they lied the entire time I want this contract rescinded as soon as possible and I am going to contact Ford Motor Company, the FTC and other state agencies regarding their practices The last statement is he would sell me another truck and try to get me 0% finance is such an arrogance of a man and an attitude which dictates dishonesty is beyond wordsTo think my friends, my family or myself will ever shop another Ford Dealership is only a dream this man can haveI think that if Ford allows theft by deception as this situation has turned out to be they should be shut down or fined Thank you in advance Sincerely, [redacted]

Mr [redacted] came into the dealership on 3/26/He signed a credit application authorizing us to obtain his credit historyHe was then given a risk based pricing showing him his credit scoresWe then submitted him to banks trying to get the best rates for him based upon his credit history We received bank turn downs and bank approvalMr [redacted] also received letters directly from the bank explaining why they wouldn't approve the loan We then explained the interest rate and the payment amount to Mr [redacted] The bank required pay stubs for proof of income which had to be brought back later that day On April 2nd, Mr [redacted] notified us of an issue with the left front wheelWe diagnosed the issue and replaced the defective wheel bearing at no charge to them We don't discriminate on a basis of race, national origin, religion, sex, nor sexual orientation The price agreed to for the truck they purchased was our internet sale price that was listed online as a special at that time Approximatly a year later Mr [redacted] came into speak with me regarding his frustration with the price he paid as well as the interest rate I explained to Mr [redacted] that we don't control the interest rates, it is the banks that tell us the rate to charge based upon credit history of the individual (s) application I also explained that in some instances the banks require the dealerships to pay fees to the bank to secure an approval At this time Mr [redacted] informed me he recently received a letter from Chrysler/Dodge corporation for 0% financingI then explained to him that these letters aren't a firm offer for creditYou still have to submit an application to receive approval for these types of offers I then explained to Mr [redacted] that we were unable to receive an interest rate that low because of his past credit history If Mr [redacted] is willing to come in and fill out another application, I can try and obtain the 0% apr available on select new FordsHowever, the 0% apr is based on past credit historyEverybody doesn't qualify for the 0% apr [redacted] General Manager
