My apologies as I did not read this thoroughly and have a few other points that he has made to speak toMy crew started the job in the afternoon after we had completed a another project that morning we did not leave suddenly it was the end of the day after they had done the demo.We spoke in depth about the size of the holes for the soffit vents and what types they were and that the louver style were the best type for the area as his home is located in as it is a wooded area and they are designed for high fire areasHe mentioned several times that he had gotten a cheaper bid from another roofing company however he was unable to reach themAlso he has commented contacting us regarding the soffit vents falling outThis is the first I have heard of this and we would be happy to take a look and see what the issue isWhere the hole is drilled for the event it is a tight fit and he remarked him selves that we had to tap them to get them in not hammer themThis was a very simple installation

We were contacted by the complaint tentAnd we have came an to amicable resolution on our own and we will be taking care of this for him

I am rejecting this response because: He makes no mention of giving me a professional and detailed invoice, which I have called for many times He makes light of the issue of me agreeing to use these soffits that he "had explained about." He doesn't mention that previous to the ridge vent/soffit installation, we had come to a verbal (and once again he gave me no professional detailed invoice of the work to be done) agreement of the total inclusive priceAFter beginning the work, he then hit me with "the soffits will be an extra cost." 1) I require a detailed invoice which includes labor, costs of ridge vents, and costs/make of soffits.2) Most of the soffits were hammered in, which any layman can see that the metal intake vents were smashed and obviously not venting properlyI would like a neutral party, perhaps a Revdex.com mediator to come and survey the work It does not matter to me that Warren Roofing would be "happy" to come back out This was not the case previous to this complaint His happiness and my satisfaction are two different matters All of the soffits may need re-fitting, or replacement, or caulking or sealing 3) I would like his employee, [redacted] (who had signed an unofficial receipt of payment) to be the lead person on this issue, as I am not very trusting of [redacted] Warren's willingness to satisfactorily resolve this complaint

Today is 3/14/ As of today, this matter with Warren Roofing has been satisfactorily resolved Thank you for your help and input[redacted] , M.A., MFT

After touching bases with my office it appears we actually did amend the invoice as Mr*** requested here is an email and the invoice which is dated and so was the email to show it was createdThis was quite sometime ago so the sent message has been deleted from my email as we fill up our email quite often. Also we would be happy to take a look at any problems *** has mentioned with a third-party unbiased supervisor as we do not trust what is transpired so farHe has commented that we used inferior products which is The case will use the absolute highest quality products and they were installed in a workmanlike manner and he was satisfied at the time of the project CompletionWe can also provide the pricing for the material provided if need be

I am rejecting this response because:I am not rejecting this response because it's confusing, and I don't really see where any suggestions (except to send me an invoice) to rectify the problem, are being implemented. 1. My last name is ***, not ***.2. I never received an invoice (hard-copy, text or email).3. His invoice states that $is due. On the day of the installation, I paid $cash to one of his workers, ***, and I have a hand written receipt by him.4. Warren's invoice is dated 6/27/16. I have a text, on my Iphone, where I asked that the hard-copy be mailed to me. I also have the text response from Warren, stating, "Absolutely no problem, will do". I never received the invoice.5. As for *** Warren stating that "Mr *** was happy with the work that was done". MrWarren was long gone from my house while his workers were still drilling holes for the soffets. How would he know if I was happy? We never spoke again, nor did he nor the company respond to my many requests to send me, via post office mail, the invoice with a warranty for their work. A few days after they had finished, I found in my back and front yards: nails, wooden cut-outs for the soffets, roofing materials, and a few round chewing tobacco containers. They left quite a mess.6. I left a few messages recently, with their answering service, regarding a) some of the soffets falling out; and b) that another contractor looked at them and showed me how many of them were hammered in which smashed the vents, thus closing them off for ventilation. And MrWarrren states he never got these messages. The day before my original Revdex.com complaint, his answering service specifically told me they would forward my concerns and request to MrWarren, but he again didn't respond.7. What I am looking for is just to have Warren Roofing quit running me around and make good on the work they did. I have pictures of a "good" vs"smashed" soffet, and pictures of where the soffets fell out, and pictures of them having to be taped back in. a) Have a couple of his workers bring some new soffets to replace the ones that are "smashed". Have them caulk around the soffets so that they don't fall out. b) A complete invoice, hard-copy as requested many times, and a warranty for their work. And the invoice needs to state that all payment was received on 6/9/16. c) I'm fairly sure that one or two workers could replace and caulk the needed soffets, in less than an hour. The gentleman, ***, the worker who signed the receipt, would be requested as he seemed to be a hard worker. d) I don't understand why MrWarren keeps spending this time coming up with rebuttals instead of just coming and making good on their work. And I (and probably he also) would rather that he doesn't come. If he does, I need some advance time in order to have another contractor here to help me negotiate with him. The time for negotiations is over though. Just, as requested above: replace the bad soffets and seal them in so they won't keep falling out when it's windy. c)

We were contacted by the complaint tent. And we have came an to amicable resolution on our own and we will be taking care of this for him.

depth about the size of the holes for the soffit vents and what types they were and that the louver style were the best type for the area as his home is located in as it is a wooded area and they are designed for high fire areas. He mentioned several times that he had gotten a cheaper bid from another roofing company however he was unable to reach them. Also he has commented contacting us regarding the soffit vents falling out. This is the first I have heard of this and we would be happy to take a look and see what the issue is. Where the hole is drilled for the event it is a tight fit and he remarked him selves that we had to tap them to get them in not hammer them. This was a very simple installation.

I am rejecting this response because: He makes no mention of giving me a professional and detailed invoice, which I have called for many times.  He makes light of the issue of me agreeing to use these soffits that he "had explained about."  He doesn't mention that previous to the ridge vent/soffit installation, we had come to a verbal (and once again he gave me no professional detailed invoice of the work to be done) agreement of the total inclusive price. Review: [redacted] completed a roofing job on 7/25/14 and was paid the final payment. The next day we noticed that the vinyl fascia board on one of the peaks was damaged. Mr. [redacted] was notified and he stated that none of his men had done this. We are seniors and don't go up on the roof. The roofers were the only ones on the roof. After several attempts to contact Mr. [redacted], a worker was sent to look at the fascia and he removed the two boards.

We have tried via email 15 times and several phone calls and even gave him the name of the company that did the vinyl fascia but have not gotten the boards replaced. It has been over 10 weeks since the job was supposedly completed. I believe I have given him more than enough time to fix this problem.Desired Settlement: I just want the two fascia boards replaced.
