Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
While it is nice to see that Mr. C[redacted] contacted the state about the waterproofing, our complaint is not that it was installed incorrectly. It was not installed at all. I know in the conversations I have had with him, his story changes to fit the situation. Regardless, our tub is now waterproof and tiled correctly. It took 4 attempts at installing the tile and over three weeks to get it right but it finally is. It is sad that Mr. C[redacted] believes our view of the home's construction was tainted by the tile installation. I can see with my own eyes the numerous issues with the house, which include:Bulging siding due to structural misalignment. This was pointed out in November and only corrected after closing in Januarycrooked shingles on the cricketoverhangs were not attached securely to the house which caused the shingles to buckle. Shingles were removed, overhangs reinforced. When this was done the roof was left uncovered which lead to interior water damage when it rainedgauged wood vent hood over the oven. was repaired and repainted in a different sheen. had to be repainted again. trash cabinet feel off rails and into the floor when opened because it was installed improperlynumerous uneven, and bowed walls. most of these have been corrected but seriously, why?door frames not aligned. 2 different areas of the upstairs hall have door frames that are very close. they were nearly touching at the top and over an inch apart at the bottom. their correction was to fill the gap with trim. How lazy! after telling them that I would not except jack leg construction, the door frames were straightened.Kitchen pendant lights were not spaced evenly. only corrected after closingpaint drips on the walls EVERYWHERE! corrected after closingbaseboards covered in drywall dust and painted over. in all rooms of the house. it looked incredibly bad. corrected after closinglandscaping is a mess. sod laid on top of red clay without any top soil. plants barely in the ground, if at all. some have already died. this is not a "warrentable" item so it will not be fixed. HHHunt had unlimited access to our home for 3 weeks after closing. we could not move in. If we had not closed on time we would have paid a penalty of $[redacted]. I believe we should receive compensation for being kept out of our home. Lynn C[redacted], customer service, has stated to me that our home was not uninhabitable so no compensation would be granted. I would like to know who would live in a home when strangers have 24 hour access? Truly absurd! Most of our issues have been corrected but if Mr. C[redacted] wants to improve the processes and make customers a top priority, as he stated, HHHunt would never turn over a home to a customer looking like this. I know without a doubt, they would never have corrected these problems if we had not complained! that is unprofessional and dishonest. If they know there are issues, they should be corrected first. my neighbors closed on their home yesterday. they did their final walk through on Wednesday. two weeks ago we had a terrible hail storm and their house, like ours, took a tremendous beating. We had to go over and point out the hail damage to the side of their house before they signed off. Even though the builder knew of the damage, they never told the buyers. Sad and disgusting. After all of this, we love our home. we love the location, floor plan and design upgrades but I could never recommend HHHunt to anyone. It has been nothing but a nightmare. I stand behind my claim that they are unethical, unprofessional and dishonest. we should not have had to delay moving in and we should not have had to fight so hard to have our problems corrected. I hope many people read this on the Revdex.com webpage and think twice before purchasing a home from HHHunt.

I have just received the complain and will work with our HHHunt Homes division to determine our next step. I will let you know the outcome once I know more.

I have reviewed the offer and/or response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted], and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.Had I realized that a NEW HHHunt home would include a calcium deposit in the concrete that you felt shouldn't be fixed and once it was replaced it was done with the wrong mix, in which your own builder admits, and now I have a dingy grey walkway sir I would've passed. I  can't believe this is the type of product that you feel is appropriate. I've overlooked several imperfections in this house. I could list them all but you would probably ignore them as in the initial complaint. I was told you stood behind your product but I see now this is not the case. I have loose bricks, a crooked porch column and a yard that holds water and looks like it has been though a war. Thank you for a very expensive disappointment.

To whom it may concern,Re: Revdex.com Complaint #[redacted] on 4-28-15We take great pride in both the homes we build and the customer experience we provide throughout the homebuilding process.  Outstanding customer satisfaction is a core company value and one of our most important initiatives. ...

Our desire is for all customers to be satisfied with their decision in trusting HHHunt Homes. Ms. [redacted] has stated that her sod was improperly installed; however, her sod was installed using identical methods and standards that were used for the neighboring lawns.  Neighboring lawns appear healthy and lush green.  We affirm that the sod was installed correctly and no differently on Ms. [redacted] lot and that this was not a warrantable matter.Ms. [redacted] Pre-Settlement Orientation document shows that the landscaping was reviewed prior to closing on her new home.  There is a check mark beside the term “Landscaping," indicating that it was reviewed and found to be in satisfactory condition.  Our Builder, Justin M[redacted], wrote notes of any outstanding items that Ms. [redacted] asked to be addressed.  A copy of this paperwork is shown below for your reference.  There is no mention of improvements needed to the landscaping or sod in the notes.Page 103 of our Homeowner Manual clearly states:  “We will confirm the healthy condition of all plant materials during the pre-settlement orientation.  Maintaining landscaping is your responsibility and is excluded from HHHunt Homes Limited warranty.” Ms. [redacted] closed on her home on 11-23-15, at which time the irrigation was already winterized to her new home.  When we completed these services, the backflow was placed in either her garage or crawl space, which later came up missing.  Since this was not something we could have confirmed prior to closing, HHHunt Homes agreed to replace the backflow and start up the irrigation system at no charge to the homeowner.  The time this notification was made to the time the irrigation was started up was less than 10 days.  We also feel this timeframe could not have been any faster, as most irrigation companies normally have at least a 2-week lead time in the spring and fall months. We are attaching photos of two lawns installed at approximately the same as Ms. [redacted] lawn using identical installation methods.  One of these lawns was applied just before Ms. [redacted] and one immediately after.  None of these lawns had additional topsoil applied.  They are lush, green and healthy.  Neither timing nor installation technique affected the health of these lawns. We are also attaching a photograph of Ms. [redacted] lawn.  You’ll notice that after recent rains, it appears lush and green.  With proper continued watering and care, Ms. [redacted] will have an attractive lawn.  It certainly does not require replacement. Sincerely,Jarod A. A[redacted]
