Wasa Renovations Reviews (2)

Review: I contracted WASA Renovations to do a kitchen renovation project. WASA's performance was sub standard and dangerous from day one. The owner, [redacted] was never onsite supervising the job, only leaving a single worker who didn't speak English. The owner consistently ignored even my simplest instructions for the project. He repeatedly had to be told to replace old flooring and sheetrock that had been damaged in a water leak. He insisted on keeping the old material. My cooktop was delivered for a natural gas hook up when my cooktop is lined for propane. WASA installed the cooktop knowing that it was incorrect. It was only after I had it inspected by a local plumber did I learn that it was not connected to code or with a liquid propane adapter. Both of these errors were dangerous and put my family at risk. My sub-zero refrigerator was delivered with uneven doors and drawers. WASA installed them without inspecting or noticing the flaws. Replacing the unit after the fact has resulted in significant additional construction and damage to my kitchen. WASA installed my cooktop fan hood without the proper stabilizing rods. When I went to clean the hood, it puckered and caused all the tile grout surrounding it to come apart. WASA left small nails sticking out of the floor molding and many of the cabinet doors are uneven and don't close properly. WASA removed a door leading from my garage to the kitchen for deliveries and easy access. The door was re-installed crocked and the alarm sensor was broken. WASA left all my electric outlet boxes crooked and in need of electrical repair. The boxes are so damaged that plate covers could not be installed. WASA's electrician installed a new outlet for a built in microwave and never labeled in my fuse box. This is only an abbreviated list but the errors and negligence of WASA led to a significant number of scratches, dent, chips and damage to my cabinets and countertop. Mr. [redacted] is responsible for shoddy work and is not to be trusted.Desired Settlement: I would like WASA's negligence investigated by Revdex.com and his business violations posted on your website. I would like my $11,000 back for his sub standard work. I want to warn all other consumers to use this company at their own risk. This is a bad guy who shouldn't be in business. I am more than willing to speak with a Revdex.com representative to offer more details.

It was a COMPLETE DISASTER! The owner of WASA renovations, Wojtek C[redacted], was nasty, belligerent and uncooperative. He ignored the most basic instructions and was rarely on the job site, leaving one worker who spoke little English. The remolding was largely due to a water leak a few years earlier. I told Mr. C[redacted] when he was hired that there was water damage below the cabinets and that the wood floors needed to removed along with the cabinets. In addition, the sheetrock behind the cooktop needed to be replaced due to the water issue. He ignored these instructions for a week because he wanted the job completed as quickly as possible. After a week of arguing, he finally relented.
My cooktop is lined for liquid propane but my appliance distributer incorrectly ordered a natural gas [redacted] cooktop. WASA renovations took delivery of the erroneous cooktop and installed it. They didn't inform me of the incorrect cooktop or attempt to put on a LP adapter. The cooktop gas line was also not installed to code. I learned of this after having it inspected by my local plumber. The kinked gas line was a leak hazard which put my entire family at risk. WASA also took delivery of and installed a Sub-Zero refrigerator which came with uneven doors and drawers and a broken freezer. I pointed out the issues and WASA just downplayed them. When I had a [redacted] technician come look at the fridge, he said that it looked like it was dropped and should have been sent back by my installers. AND WORST OF ALL THE FRIDGE WAS INSTALLED WITHOUT SECURING BRACKETS which left it in danger of tipping forward at any time! The work required to replace the unit has caused significant damage to my new cabinets and countertop, not to mention putting my family at significant risk.
WASA installed a cooktop hood without the proper support rods. When I went to clean the hood, it puckered and all the surrounding grout crumbled and fell off the tiled wall. The improper installation and inspection of the appliances has led to countless service calls and deliveries of replacement units. All these occurred after my cabinets and countertop were installed and the constant repair traffic has caused dozens of chips, scratches and blemishes on my cabinets and countertop.
WASA delivered and installed a pantry door with a light streak of blue paint on the inside. They left exposed nails sticking out of the shoe molding. I have numerous cabinet drawers and doors that are uneven and don't close properly. The electrician used by WASA installed a new outlet for the built in microwave and didn't label it on my fuse box. The electrician left all my outlet boxes crooked and I'm unable to put on outlet plates. I need them serviced by another electrician.
WASA removed a door connecting my garage and kitchen for easy entry and deliveries. The door was re-installed incorrectly and now doesn't close properly. In addition, the alarm sensor on the door was broken.
From the first day, all WASA was concerned with was completing my project as quickly as possible. The owner was juggling multiple jobs with a limited crew. He was never on my jobsite to oversee work or deliveries and the mistakes have resulted in a new kitchen that is still not finished and looks anything but new.
WASA and Wojtek C[redacted] should not be in business and anyone who hires them does so at their own risk.
My advice: BEWARE AND STAY AWAY!!!!
