At this time, I have not been contacted by Wash City Laundromat regarding complaint ID ***They did in fact contact you folks to deny everything and you folks closed this complaint out afterwardsThis hasn't been handled to my satisfactionThis business runs under more than one name, lies about things and expects you the consumer to jump through hoops and stalls until its TOO LATE to substantiate your claimsThese fine upstanding business people took advantage of a disabled woman and accused her of lying, which is something my wife doesn't do.
If you folks decide your going to pursue this matter, it would better be done in person and not electronically.

On 1/**/14, this customer dropped his clothing for a wash-and-fold service, picking up the next dayOn 1/**/14, he came back to complain that the bet set in question was not of the right size, flatly making an accusation that it had been switched with another customer’sI suggested that I would look into the matter and notify him of my findings in a few daysHis wife, however, became temperamental and proceeded to demand the cost without a receipt, taking back the said set, thereby eliminating any opportunity for me to investigate through questioning the employee and examining the video recording
The probability of another customer bringing in an exactly same bed set, except for the size of Queen, on exactly same day, and of the employee mistakenly switching it, out of many other items, with the complainant’s King size set, out of many other items, is nilIt is also very unlikely that the bed sheets, made of 100% cotton as per their labels, would shrink from “King” size to “Queen” size
I do not know what the facts are, and neither would I have found out days after the service was providedAs such, I have no choice but to deny the unjustified demand of this customer without any supporting arguments

Review: Sheets and towels were brought in for cleaning. All sheets are for a KING bed and one set that was returned to me was for a QUEEN bed. The owner states that there is no way they could have made that type of mistake nor could they have shrunk them. Whom ever got the KING sheets won't complain or return them, so I am out a set of sheets. The owner refuses to re-emburse me for the set of sheets, and states that I waited too long (10 days)to report it to him. I have many sets of sheets and do not use the same set twice in a row. I rotate them to get good wear out of them. I just want them to own up to their error and re-emburse me for the sheets. The cost is $24.99! This business also uses the name of [redacted]'s Laundromat on it's receipts and exterior signage.Desired Settlement: Pay me for the sheets. $24.99!
