Review: Problem description:

After a series of bad experiences, the company lost a large bag of laundry and refused to acknowledge the fact, nor to try and make any amends.

I had left a Light Blue WashClubNYC bag (weighting 30 some odd pounds) for pickup. It contained a navy bag (darks), a white canvas bag (whites) and a pink mesh bag (air dry). When the service returned my clothing, they failed to return the navy bag- only the items in the white and pink bags, which totaled about 20 pounds. When I realized their error, I repeatedly reached out within a short time (I was a bit anxious due to the poor track record I've had with the company). When I received a call back, the business owner was immediately combative; raised his voice; called me a "difficult customer" and began to deny my assertions, stating that they had only picked up one blue bag weighing 20 pounds. It was my sense he was confused between the lighter blue Wash Club bag and navy blue bag that was INSIDE the bag that they had failed to return. His "difficult customer" comment was likely a response to my repeated frustration with their service; this is on top of a myriad poor customer service issues I had experienced with them: They lost my front door key - Ignored wash instructions to use my own detergent which I realized after I broke out in a rash - Put air-dry items in the dryer and ruined items - Overcharged me for supplies when I had my own in the locker. Additionally, the organization has a very poor reputation as can be seen in the yelp links below and I had been feeling somewhat distrustful and anxious. [redacted] I am seeking reimbursement for the lost items.Desired Settlement: At minimum, $400 reimbursement. The bag contained a a myriad of expensive workout gear, towels, t-shirts (including one with great sentimental value); as well as socks and other misc items.
