Revdex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The check engine light is still onI have a maintenance paperwork from August stating the catalytic converter is shaking, possible rust in the engine and heavy rust throughout the under carriage of the car which still hasn't been addressedI bought the car in November so they knowingly sold me the car that had all these problemsThere still hasn't been anything solved Regards, [redacted]

RevDex.com: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] , and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. The statement in response to my remarks about two contracts is not correct. Look for the contract number just before the contract number that was submitted. I have cancelled the service contract and will hold out until the refund is received before settling this complaint. I want to see how long it takes them to provide the refund and how much they ding me for it. I provided my advisory regarding my employment situation within 10 days of the purchase and it is more than two months before they reply. If I am penalized for their slow response to me I will not be happy. I contacted them to cancel within 10 days of purchase and it was in late April early May before the emanager finally called me to tell me there was nothing they could do except cancel the contract. I feel the dealer lagged in responding to make me responsible for cancellation fees. I contacted them by phone and in person 3-4 times in the two months before the manager could return my call. I called the F&I guy on his cell phone and was told to call the business. I am not happy they could see how much money I make and still try to screw me with the extended warranty. Regards, [redacted] ***

PLEASE RE-OPEN COMPLAINT # [redacted] Complaint has not been resolvedI purchased a Jeep Liberty from San Diego Auto Connection on June 7th, The total cost of my purchase, including my own down payment of $7,500.00, was $13,The Jeep had 80,miles on it, when I purchased itI test drove the Jeep, which seemed to drive fine around the car lot and on the freewayI purchased a warrantee with the Jeep through Royal Administration, in which I paid in full for the price of $2,on June 7th, On October 24th, 2014, the transmission in my Jeep went out after getting off the freeway in San Diego on Balboa AvenueRancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge had my Jeep for weeks with nothing repaired, after extensive communication and disagreement with my warrantee company: Royal AdministrationRoyal Administration disagreed to pay the hourly cost that Rancho Chrysler Jeep Dodge quoted for a full transmission replacement (which is what was needed)The communication with myself and Royal Administration was useless and misleading, as every representative that I spoke with, directed me to speak with Rancho Chrysler Jeep DodgeAfter going back and forth for weeks with nothing being done, Royal Administration finally came to an agreement with Rancho Chrysler Jeep DodgeAfter getting the transmission rebuilt, the Jeep continued to have problemsThe Jeep continued to be dangerous to drive, after stalling in the middle of the street while I was drivingMy experience with San Diego Auto Connection, to say the least, is one of the worst experiences I have had on a customer service and satisfaction level in my lifeI do not believe that any car that has been through inspection by a respectable company, should have a complete transmission failure in which I ended up paying money out of my own pocket for, after 4½ months of purchasing the vehicleI was not sold a "drivable" vehicleI ended up having to trade the Jeep in on December 19th, After trading my vehicle in, I have lost $8,in a matter of monthsThe $2,that I spent on a warrantee towards Royal Administration cost me nothing but terrible customer service, and wasted time without a vehicleThis is a situation in which I had absolutely no control over, and no chance of knowing that the vehicle was in poor conditionI expect San Diego Auto Connection to refund the total amount of my warrantee (which was completely useless), as well as the amount in which I financedThis is a total reimbursement of $8,

Nothing but lies from the beginningThey lied about me receiving a tv/ipad when I signed the lease, about receiving a referral bonus, about being allowed to have my cat visit a few weekends without paying the pet feeAfter I signed the lease, I was asked to give $to make sure no one else took my apartment out from under me by signing a lease that began sooner than mineThe apartments themselves have not been kept up over the years and it showsThe appliances barely work and the carpets and walls are permanently stainedPoor insulation, so the whole place is a money drain in heating/cooling My apartment is overrun with bugs and has flooded multiple timesThe manager refused to even report the most recent flooding for over a week and a half because she wanted to do her own amateur investigation for fun first, even though my property was damaged when it flooded and the claim needed to be filedShe has lied, berated her maintenance guy in front of me for the crime of having been the one I called when I saw the flooding, and refuses to put me in contact with someone at corporate because then she won't be in control of the information they receive about the situation This apartment has been a nightmare to deal withThe current manager is lazy, rude, and just generally unpleasantShe takes anything like a personal attack and will refuse to do her job out of spiteDO NOT SIGN A LEASE HERE! Save yourself the headache, flooding, bugs, broken appliances, and lies by looking somewhere else now

Innovative lighting has poor quality of workmanship on their products I have had of there lights on my trailer and they all got moisture in them I contacted innovative lighting in regards to the situation they came up with a solution they would send me a new set of lights to put on my trailer I now have a second set of lights on my trailer that got moisture in them just like the first set of within a matter of days of having them put on I talked to the Vice President of the company he acted like he was gunna make it right but now refuses to return my phone call and has his warranty guy call me who hangs up on me in the middle of a phone conversationThe last solution they had was for me to pull all the lights off of my trailer and send to them I ask them if they was going to pay for my down time due to this is a company trailer and the trailer would not be able to go down the road legally with no lights on it they said that they couldn't do that so there fore I can't send the lights back to them they are refusing to pay hours of downtime that I already have do to having the second set of lights put on the trailer that are defective too but they will send me another set of lights to put on the trailer that they say will workWhy didn't the other lights work then I have trouble believing that the next lights will work properly tooThe trailer manufacture is now going to reconstruct the whole outside of the trailer so we can put a different companies lights on the trailer because they have hade multiple issues with innovatives lights and has switched to a different light do to the poor workmanship of the lights all I asked of innovative lighting was to pay for my down time do to their defective lights

I purchased a Mercedes SL Every step of the purchase was excellent

Most of the problems with the vehicle have been solvedI can't afford $due to the holidays to get the car inspected by Subaru and I asked them to take it to Subaru to get inspected and they said noThere integrity is gone with me I have dealt with nothing but lies from themThis company believes selling selling cars that are heavily rusted and need a lot of mechanical work are ok to sellWith all the discrepancies the cars value goes down, it is not not worth 10,I bought it online and the price was 9,then jumped to 9,and then I had to put down a 1,to pay for a "car alarm that would bring down my APR" which was another lie that I caught them inI am ready to go forward to protect other consumers from this company, I will do whatever it takes to get them out of businessI have documentation from August stating that the car was heavily rusted and that there is rust in the engine along with a several different discrepancies that were never fixed til after I purchased the carI have taken the car times to get repaired, missed work and court ordered visitation rights with my daughter. I don't write a lot of low reviews; I like to give businesses a chance to fix things. What bothers me about this business is the fact that they try to present themselves as almost a CarMax-themed, friendly and non-threatening type of car businessOnce you peel the orange, however, you'll find that this is simply another iron-lot, full of desperate used-car salemen and managers, who would likely steal a rose off of their grandmother's grave
The majority of the 5-Stars you'll see here were solicited; when I bought a BMW from them I was actively and agressively solicited to provide a positive Yelp by sales, management and finance personnel ("Anthing less than stars is a fail!")
The staff here is remarkably insincere- You're really asking for trouble going hereI bought a BMW M Roadster from these folks last SpringThey really pushed how hard they only buy vehicles from private owners and not auctionsThis is meaningless, considering they don't recondition cars to save their life
The car ran like crap, and I ended up having to pay for a full tune-up, including an air filter, plugs and an oil change at the BMW dealerThe BMW San Diego SA told me that it was one of the worst-maintained cars he had seen in a whileAfter getting un-buried in the car, I sold it to *** at the Car Czar, who did me right
Wanting a Corvette, I actually saw a Corvette Zat the SD Auto Connection that I liked, and called times (and left messages with the Sales Manager Curtis) about it, being blown off each timeI had cash in my pocket; I simply wanted to write a checkI'm well aware that I wasn't called back because the assumption was made that I couldn't trade in the BMWBut it cost them an easy cash sale
No problem, right? I found a better car from the original owner on Craigslist, who- get this- had gone to the SD Auto Connection to sell it previouslyI paid him $cash for the carThey offered him $Yep- That badPrivate party book was $at the timeListen, car dealers are car dealers- You're not going to find a saint among themNot here, and not at CarMaxBut as dealers go, these guys are really quite disingenuous and just not coolI couldn't recommend purchasing or even selling a car here; they're just not nice people, and it shows

After researching this complaint I found that his concern regarding the engine smoking has been addressed and fixed We have not been able to Address the other items yet because he did not have a picture drivers licence to qualify renting a carI spoke to *** and set up a appointment
for this Tuesday 12-to leave the car with us as he now has a valid picture DL and we are putting him a rental car to address his concerns

In regards to *** ***
rgb(255, 255, 255);">We received a call on November 1st from *** in regards to his cancellation for Extended Service ContractI had my staff Email him the cancellation form (See Attached) on 11-4-as the 1st was a weekendHe got the cancellation back to us on 11-5-We submitted the cancellation on 11-14-It takes approximately 6-weeks foe the customer to get there refund from SDAC which is the average time frame for refunds of this nature

All of our vehicles are inspected and cleared by an independent repair facility and are required to pass a thorough inspection to include everything mechanicallyIt appears at the time of sale the vehicle passed this inspectionSince the vehicle has been traded in you are entitled to a pro rated
refund on the service contract minus any claimsYou can do so through the dealership

As stated in my earlier response the vehicle was in sound mechanical condition at the time of saleI spoke with *** in regards to her coverage with Royal Administration and her coverage did pay out a claim for her transmissionI also stated if she wants to cancel the remainder of her service contract with royal she is more than welcome toThey will prorate the unused portion less any claims to calculate the refundI emailed her the form which we received back from her on January 22ndWe are processing her requestUnfortunately with ownership of any vehicle maintenance and repairs are necessaryI'm sorry to hear her experience was not as expected

We are in receipt of the complaint from *** We searched our records on the Mercury Sable she purchased on September 27, Each vehicle we sell comes with a day warranty that covers specific components Our records do not indicate any issues presented to us that were
a part of that warranty
Ms*** did purchase an extended warranty for months We would be happy to assist her with any communication with the warranty company to see if any of your concerns are covered components to help her with this vehicle
Thank you

As per our conversation I am researching this with The Warranty companyI have Ben contacted by Mr*** as well and am in correspondence with him

[As mentioned previously, the vehicle SEEMED to be running fine prior to my purchaseI took the vehicle in to San Diego Auto Connection the first time my check engine light came on, which was within the first weeks of me having the vehicleI came in with an Auto Scan code (already given to me from another mechanic with what the problem was)There was a failing Osensor failingThe Jeep was sold to me like this, along with any other problems that I was made unaware ofBecause the Jeep was covered under San Diego Auto Connection for any maintenance and repairs after the first days of my purchase, I took it thereI told San Diego Auto Connection that I already had it looked at and gave them the code of what was wrongSan Diego Auto Connection then used their Auto Scanner, and told me my conclusion was incorrectThey said the gas cap was not screwed on tight enough, which I told them that I had already checked several timesI persisted in telling them that I had also mentioned the gas cap to the mechanic who scanned my Jeep and found the failing Osensor, and he said that was NOT the problemI told San Diego Auto Connection this, as I had drove hours in traffic just to get this fixed from themSan Diego Auto Connection again told me I was wrong, and insisted that it was the gas capThey told me that "they were not sure what type of scanner the other mechanic had, but theirs was very basic, so the gas cap was all that it was showing." They did not sound very confident that they were even providing me with the correct conclusion, and more or less just seemed like they wanted me to leaveI asked them once again, "are you sure it is the gas cap? Because a mechanic specifically told me it was not, and gave me a specific code off of his Auto Scanner to bring to San Diego Auto Connection for you to fix the issue." San Diego Auto Connection finally said "If the light comes on again, you can always just come back." This, as a customer who had purchased a Jeep weeks ago and had driven hours to get a problem I had already researched, FIXED, was not what I wanted to hearThe drive back home from San Diego Auto Connection took me hours that night, and just before I got home, the check engine light came on againI then contacted *** the next day (employee at San Diego Auto Connection who did all of my negotiations and paperwork with the Jeep) and he said to come in again when I couldI took the Jeep in days laterSan Diego Auto Connection again asked me if the issue was my gas cap, with no regard or empathy for the situation that had been persisting for the entire weekAfter explaining to them again that this was not the issue, sure enough, the Osensor happened to need a replacementThis is a fraction of the stress I have gone through with San Diego Auto ConnectionAfter having to sell the Jeep, because of continual repairs and lost money, I was given a history report of the Jeep which I had never seen beforeThe report, printed out from the Honda dealer I bought my current car from, showed a number of issues and failed smog tests stating back years ago from the JeepWhen I purchased the Jeep from San Diego Auto Connection, I was told that there is an inspection and report ran on all of the vehicles before selling themI had never seen the report which specifically showed me a "Fail" in several smog check instancesIf this were the case, as what I consider myself to be a very logical and intelligent person, would have NEVER purchased the JeepA company like San Diego Auto Connection is undoubtably doing this to other customersIn my first weeks of "customer service experience" with San Diego Auto Connection, rather than them standing by their word and trying to fix a repair within the first days of my purchase, I was quickly turned away for the problem to be pushed aside for as long as possibleI was then lied to, about the history and current state of the Jeep, just to experience it breaking down with me behind the wheel, putting me in a life threatening situationI then was told, after purchasing a new car, and contacting the Revdex.com by both *** and *** *** that I "should have taken my Jeep to their shop the moment the transmission went out." Who in their right mind as a customer, would think of this as an immediate solution after being pushed away and lied to by a company.
My explanations are more than enough proof and evidence that I am entitled to my initial reimbursement stated as $8,Thank you]
Regards,*** ***

In regards to Mr***'s stating that there were two agreements at the time of sale is inaccurateThere was one agreement that included the service contract to be held for a few days in the event he contacted us to remove the service contractWe held on to the contract as agreedAs he stated he
did not contact us for a couple of weeks and we proceeded with the original contract as per the agreementThe Service contract is an optional product that can be cancelled and refunded to the unpaid balance of the loanHe was given that option and has since cancelled the productOnce we receive the funds from the policy we will forward the refund to His loan with Capital One Auto Finance. ***

STAY AWAY!!!!
Do yourself a favor and do NOT buy a car from this place. Please read on for the full story of my unbelievable experience at SD Auto Connection.
My husband and I went to buy a car because we got a letter from Capital One saying that we got pre-approved for $35,000 in auto financing and got referred to San Diego Auto Connection. We did not qualify to get the car we wanted so we told them that we will come back later on and all of a sudden they became very desperate and pushy. We ended up buying a car that we did not test drive on the freeway and we only tested at the dealership because they where rushing to close the dealership. They obviously wanted to get rid of us and make money of us, we ended up buying a 2012 Honda Civic hybrid. [redacted] “SALESMANAGER”, [redacted] “SALES ASSOCIATE” AND [redacted] “FINANCE DEPARTMENT MANAGER” ARE THE WORST CROOKS, THIEVES AND LIERS!!!! MAX BROWN he is the General Manager another CROOK!!! and very Racist treated us like TRASH!!!! When closing the deal, sales guy [redacted] and finance manager [redacted] knew my husband did not speak English very well and my English is okay not that great, he could’ve given us the forms in Spanish noticing the language barrier with my husband and I. Any Professional and decent car sales business knows that!! That’s why they have forms in Chinese, Spanish, French etc language to prevent any issues with they’re clientele, so people could better understand what they sign. Finance Manager [redacted] explained to us that if we did not like the car we had to pay $500 dlls restocking fee. We also did not get financed with Capital One because the following day Wells Fargo called me to verify Insurance and that got me even more upset because they lied to us giving us a lean holder that was not Capital One and they never let us know. We went back the next day to take the car back because we did not like it, it was to slow on the freeway. And because it was night time when we got it, all doors inside where scratched and car had scratches all over and leather seats worn . They all treated us like trash and were very racist. My husband and I told them that this was misrepresentation by misleading us and having us sign that we were declining the restocking $500 fee form, when it was not even check marked on the paperwork. All we wanted was to pay $500 and get the hell out of there because we already had a beautiful deal at the Honda dealership with professionals and got a cheaper payment and a brand new 2015 Honda. THEY ALL MADE ME CRY SO MUCH AT THE DEALERSHIP AND EVERY BODY WAS NOTICING HOW BAD MY HUSBAND AND I SITUATION WAS. They had the power to help us specially the General Manager Max Brown, but they rather have bad reviews and have clientele unhappy than helping customers and getting referrals from customer's wonderful experiences regardless if they buy or not.
