A Water Softener Air Gap will be installed once a new order is received - should be between 2-11-and 2-13- The device is called Gap-A-Flo Inline Airgap for Water Softeners. It will up to the customer to expose his drain line

I am rejecting this response because: I emailed a copy of Notice of Correction ActionThe building inspector said the installer was suppose to leave piping open for inspection to assure proper installationThe Inspector also said an air gap release valve was also neededIn short, the Inspector will not sign off on permit.I paid him $for install (receipt in email) and Inspector said it was not properly installedPlease call Inspector or Elk Grove Building Dept to confirm

all the inspector or the owner had to do was to take the cover off the sewer pipe to see that the PVC was installed correctly. I was not going to pay my installer $a hour to set and wait for the inspector to show up, when the inspector would give us a hour window

I am emailing a copy of a Notice of Correction from [redacted], an Elk Grove Building Inspector, which confirms the installation did not comply with code. Mr. [redacted] of Water Warehouse requested me to ask the Inspector for the appropriate section of the plumbing code.On Tuesday, March 17th, 2015, the Inspector said it was section 310.0 of plumbing code. Later that day, I emailed the code section to Mr. [redacted], who emailed the actually language of section 310.0 back to me. He asked what part of language showed he did not properly connect to sewer line. I explained I was in the real estate industry, but this was not my area of expertise.Proper installation of water softener to sewer line is beyond Mr. [redacted] knowledge base, which indicates he probably should not be in the business of installing water softeners. Knowledge of plumbing code is required.Sincerely,Chris CarvinIn my previous email, I forgot to mention that my remedy is for Mr. [redacted] to refund the $630.00 I paid for installation.

California water board will not allow us to resale a water bottle once it leaves the store.  They do not know what particles - liquids you have placed in the bottle.  California water board is trying to protect the consumer.

I am rejecting this response if water warehouse does not pay for air gap valve as part of my $600.00 installation process.

Review: On Or about 1/5/2015, Mr. [redacted] (owner) hired an individual ( maybe John) to install a water softener on the exterior of my home. About 1 week later, I informed Mr. [redacted] that an Elk Grove Building Inspector said a permit was required for the installation of a water softener. Mr. [redacted] repeatly said a permit was not necessary.Mr. [redacted] refused to get a permit before and after I informed him it was required. He told me good luck! I got a permit and requested his installer meet the Inspector and myself at my home on Jan 23,2015. Mr. [redacted] said he would not have his installer there for the meeting. The Inspector refused to sign off on the permit because he could not confirm the pvc line was properly connected to sewer and no air gap release valve was installed.Desired Settlement: I would like for Mr. [redacted] to have his installer correctly install softener to comply with code, or to reimburse the $600.00 installation charge.

all the inspector or the owner had to do was to take the cover off the sewer pipe to see that the PVC was installed correctly. I was not going to pay my installer $25.00 a hour to set and wait for the inspector to show up, when the inspector would give us a 4 hour window.

Review: I purchased 3-3gallon water containers on Thursday May 14th. I tried to take them back within 2-3 hours and the store manager said he was not allowed to take them back for health reasons. I told him he knew I had not used the containers. There was no return policy notice posted. I Called the State of California Consumer affairs division. They said a return policy has to be posted at the cash register. I informed the manager and he said report me, I don't have to give you a refund. I would like the store to post a refund policy so no one else will make purchases unaware. Thank You. Harlan D. GrahamDesired Settlement: A refund if allowed under applicable California law and a return policy posted where customers can read and be advised of the retun policy.

Response:

I am rejecting this response because: I do not accept the Water Warehouse's position as he knew full well nothing had been added to the containers. I can see the safety aspect of the California water board. There must be posted at the cash register the non return policy of the business per civil statues 1723, 1750-1758.

Business

Response:

There is a return policy posted at the register - the customer may not have seen it, but it is there. How long does it take to put a substance in a bottle - just seconds. The customer was gone between 30 and 40 minutes. Would the person writing this complaint, buy a used bottle?
