One station of my irrigation system does not operate. This full house irrigation system was purchased in June of 2015 with a twelve month warranty on parts, labor and installation. This failed station occurred around October 2015 and the company was notified and asked to make the necessary repairs. As of this date the system has not been repaired and communication with the company has been sporadic with no responses to emails or phone calls.Desired SettlementI want the business to come out and fix the non working station.Business Response A service call was done to diagnose the problem in March. The part was ordered and resolution has been scheduled. System module for the controller was ordered. Service to be performed 4.27Consumer Response The response from the business that they would make the repair on Apr 27 was acceptable. However they did not make contact on the 27th and have yet to do so. Final Business Response 5.2.15 Service was performed and customer satisfied. System works normal operationand problem resolved. Customer does not want to sign up for annual maintenance for spring and winter 2016 cost $180. A start up was performed for spring 2016. System pressurized and tested. No payment rendered for maintenance.

Extremely dishonest business. Takes full advantage of the fact that there is no code for irrigation installation. Installed pipes less than 2 inches below surface in some case. Almost all pipes were installed less than the 6-12 inches below surface, as dictated by best practices. Left job site a shambles after installation. When confronted, the owner promised, in writing, to provide free service from any damage to pipes due to the improper installation. Did not honor this promise, as they demanded $160 to repair a damaged pipe that was buried about 2 inches below the surface.

Water Works Unlimited will not file back flow preventer inspection with [redacted] online tracking system as required by the Town of Apex.On January of this year, I paid $200 for the 2016 irrigation winterizing/spring service from Waterworks. After getting a certified letter from my town (Apex) in May stating that my Backflow inspection wasn't filed online with [redacted] I reached out to Waterworks to find out why they hadn't completed the online filing process. I spoke with [redacted] (owner) and he stated that he would look into the problem. I found out that the actual inspection had been done, but the online filing was missed. Three weeks passed......I sent him 3 emails, left him 3 voicemails, and he refuses to return my calls. So I ended up talking with the person that actually inspected my system and he said ** refuses to pay him for the online filing, so he can't complete it. He also said he's heard from many homeowners with the same complaint. So in order to keep my water service from getting shut off, I had to hire another service company to come out and redo the inspection and file online. I fully expect that ** will reply to this complaint with some made up excuse. Don't believe it. It won't be genuine or truthful.Desired SettlementI would like a refund of my $200 service agreement. I do not want Water Works services for the year anymore.Business Response Contact Name and Title: [redacted] OwnerContact Phone: XXXXXXXXXXContact Email: **@waterworksunltd.netMr [redacted] did inform me that his report had not been filed and I forwarded the information to the our tester. Mr [redacted] emailed me and call several times on JUNE 20th & 21st. The inspection on the backflow was done 3.31.16 Our Tester attempted to file the report but the system did not recognize the address. We will refund the certification portion on the Maintenance agreement only.Consumer Response Since I didn't get a response from Waterworks within a reasonable time after leaving repeated messages, I assumed that they were no longer in business. I went ahead and contracted somebody else to take care of my irrigation system. I had no other option, since the Town of Apex was getting ready to cut my water supply off. I had to pay $75.00 for the 'extra' inspection, and do not expect Water Works to come back to my house for any other service. In addition, I had to take time off work to meet a new inspector. I do not want and do not expect to do any more business with Waterworks. I expect a full refund of my $200 service fee.Final Business Response I called Mr [redacted] and the office did refund the backflow certification portion of the maintenance. We performed the maintenance start up and certified the backflow. We have performed our service and have already refunded Mr [redacted] for the certification portion of his maintenance.More Info received From the ConsumerI do not agree with Water Works proposed resolution to this problem. I paid $75 extra for a new inspection, and Water Works is proposing a $40 refund.
