Review: In July of 2013 we(my husband and I) signed a contract with Mr.Stump to have an inground pool installed. Mr. Stump had some problems with equipment,and a car accident that put the job behind. Since the weather was getting cooler, we agreed with Mr. Stump that the pool could be installed in the spring of 2014. I contacted Mr. Stump in April 2014 about finishing the job, and he assured me that as soon as the weather was warm enough we would be the first job he would start. He sent workers up to work on 2 days in May. They have not returned. I have called Mr. Stump on multiple occasions and left messages for him to let me know when he would be continuing the work and finishing the job. I have not received a return phone call yet. I have another contractor who is to do some work at my house,but I don't want him to start until the pool is finished. He too has tried, unsuccessfully, to contact Mr. Stump. We have paid Mr. Stump up to date as was specified in the contract.At this point, he has not finished work that we have paid him for. All we want is to have the job finished per the contract.Desired Settlement: We would like the job to be finished by Mr Stump,per the contract, within the next few weeks so that we might enjoy the pool this summer and so that we can finish repairs to the yard that was damaged by the excavation for the pool.
