Wayne Subaru

Review: This complaint is against Wayne Subaru and the owner[redacted] sold me a warranty for a used car I purchased from his dealership. When the car blew the engine after 8 months, the warranty company refused to cover the entire cost. It is a company with almost 100 complaints filed against them w/the Revdex.com ([redacted]). It cost me over $1000 for the repairs and $2500 for the "Platinum" (most expensive) warranty. I was without the car for 4 months.

[redacted] agreed that [redacted] was unscrupulous and informed me that he decided to drop them as a business partner. He no longer sells warrantys from [redacted] Company. In the interest of customer satisfaction, [redacted] offered to help me cover my out of pocket costs for the car's repairs ($1000). He asked me to submit all relevant car repair bills/paperwork to him for review. I did as he requested.

I made 8 in-person visits to the dealership and 8 phone calls to follow up with [redacted]. When I would call, his receptionist would screen my calls. When I went to the dealership in person, the same thing would happen. I would be told "[redacted] just stepped out" (although I could see his car in the parking lot). Each time, I would leave my name and number, asking for a return phone call to no avail.

Finally, after my last attempt to get in touch with him, I told the woman who answered the phone that if [redacted] didn't return my call within 2 days, I would be filing a complaint with the Revdex.com. Two days later, he returned my call to inform me he had changed his mind and was not going to do anything to help out with my costs as he promised. He strung me out for 5 months and went back on his word. I complied with everything he asked of me, I was patient and understanding. [redacted] was dishonest and went back on his word.Desired Settlement: I would like for [redacted] to make good on his verbal promise to help cover the $1000 I paid for the car's repair.

Review: An order for a new vehicle was placed on 12/29/Wayne Subaru lost their copy of the contract and the order was not placedThey located a similar vehicle but it has demo miles on it, therefore not the new car I ordered.Desired Settlement: Provide me with a loaner car until they can supply me with a new one
