Wayne reglued several loose transition pieces and to fill the small gaps at joints, he used a completely different type of trim that did not match at all. It was a different size, shape, and color. There was another area that the glue did not hold and Wayne did go back to reglue it, but he would not replace the filler pieces that did not match the existing trim. Ultimately we had to hire another contractor to finish the job. Wayne would not accept our offer of partial payment for the work he did complete. The quality of work was terrible.

Review: We had flooring installed on a seven month old concrete slab in our new building by Wayne's Flooring. The first room they installed is fine which was a different product. We discussed what would work best for the second room with Wayne. We were advised that if it was going to be an area we worked in he recommended a thick quality flooring that came in sections that you could easily replace if damaged as they are not glued down. His installer came out again and installed the second floor. The sections slowly started curling up, pretty soon people were tripping on it so I called Wayne's Flooring and told them the floor was curling up, tripping people and starting to chip the edges, they said they would call me back and set up a repair. Their installer came out took one of the sections and took photos of the floor. He commented at that time he thought it was a defective product. When I called to find out what was going on (October 7)the woman that answerd the phone said the piece was sent away for testing. We called again this morning (Oct. 21)to talk to Wayne and were told he was not in. When I asked the woman that answered what was going on she said "I told you its sent out for testing". This has been going on since Sept 25,2013 and we need to be reimbursed or the floor replaced. Wayne has still not called back.Desired Settlement: We would like to be reimbursed for the defective floor and it's installation. The bill for that part of the floor was 3537.53

After receiving the complaint about the floor curling we contacted [redacted] to see how they wanted to proceed .They said they needed a sample of the floor and some pictures so we sent our contractor out to take pics and bring back sample of floor and forwarded them on to [redacted] . On 10/14 we received a phone call from [redacted] asking if we had heard anything from [redacted], my wife said we had not yet but would like to perform a moisture test on the floor as I am confident [redacted] will reqiure one to make sure there is no moisture present in the slab and this would help speed things up , then [redacted] got on the phone and shouted nobodys performing any test and that he wanted his floor replaced as its defective then hung up. Then on10/ 21 [redacted] called again and wanted to speak to me, annette told her I was on an appointment .When I got back to the shop around 3 oclock I called and spoke with [redacted] and said I needed to do a moisture test then she said I had to talk to [redacted] so she gave him the phone. I explained to [redacted] that I only offer a manufactures warranty and that they require a moisture test and that I would be available to do that on 10/28 and he said that would be fine . If the moisture test comes back negative I think we will have much more success with getting them a new floor but I do have to follow the manufactures protocol.

We went to a professional flooring company and informed Waynes flooring exactly what we were wanting to get flooring on, so they understood exactly what they were dealing with. We picked out the flooring for the first room and it is fine. Wayne was the person that recommended this product for our other room. What we have found out since is that he as a professional Flooring company should have done a moisture test on the concrete before installing the product. Our problem is that he didn't fulfill his professional duties and is now trying to shift the blame either to the product, the installer or to us. Doing a moisture test now is after the fact. Our problem is with Waynes Flooring Company and if that is resolved to our satisfaction we will be willing to help him in determining if there is a problem with the product. He recommended the product and installed it and it has failed in our application so our problem is with Waynes Flooring not the product manufacturer, that would be Waynes problem.
