Review: We had taken our Dog [redacted] in for an ear infection we had previously called for an estimate of billing. We had been advised that the office visit was going to be $37.75 and then about $18.00 for an ear wash medication we would take home. After services had been given the total bill was exceeding $120.00. When we questioned the difference we were advised that while [redacted] was being seen by the doctor an ear cleaning and swab had been done increasing the costs. They advised the doctor asked if it was okay to do this, but at no time had we been informed that there was an extra fee for these things to take place. The office visit was arranged for an ear infection and the doctor looked at the swab right there in the office herself no labs had to be sent off. We thought this was part of the office visit fee of the $37.75 as the appointment was arranged for an ear infection and thought this was apart of the normal procedures for a office visit with ear infection. We paid the amount owed that same day and are taking our business else where. If other companies such as credit card companies have to disclose any and all fees for a service that is being provided prior to providing them why does a doctors office only have to say "is it okay if we do this" and get away with charging additional hidden fees without proper discloser.Desired Settlement: I would like all business to have to disclose the fee and dollar amount of any service(s) before it is provided. I know I can not get a refund although I do feel I should not have paid for the additional services.

Also we had to reschedule because my daughter was ill, had nothing to do with the amount needed to be paid to them, we rescheduled the appointment a few days later and paid in full the same day.
I did not notice all the attachments till this moment and have already spent much time responding to the merchants response.
