I had a terrible experience with We Haul MovingLong story short, a [redacted] with its accessories was loaded on to the truck and never made it off the truck at our delivery destinationJames A [redacted] called me several times in the days leading up to the delivery, every single time stating that the "driver had to be paid before delivery"While I found it odd that he made it a point to state that every single time, I did not think anything of it After looking through all of our items we noticed we were missing the [redacted] box and immediately called both We Haul Moving as well as [redacted] Van Lines who contracted We Haul Moving for the move [redacted] Van Lines returned my phone call and helped forward my information to the claims depart***However as of this writing, We Haul Moving has yet to respond to any of my three phone calls over the past three weeks as well as my emails In the grand scheme of things the cost of a [redacted] is not a big deal, however their

The day of my move, they showed up late with the delivery drivers complaining to themselves that they still had another job to pick up and didn't have the roomEverything was marked by them and none of my items or boxes were marked as brokenI, unfortunately, chose the cents per pound of damaged furniture insurance, wrongly assuming they wouldn't treat my items like garbage

We have done some investigation regarding this brass 3 tier...

It is our assumption that it was already damaged prior to us getting there.Unfortunately, additional insurance was not purchased. We provide basic insurance with every move which is 60 per pound per article. There is a claim process in this office which she did not . However, we would like to settle this claim. We have estimated that the shelf weighs approximately 201bs. Therefore we will send the customer a check in the amount of 12.00. Review: We haul movers picked up my belongings on 3/15/14 and was to deliver them to me on 4/26/14. They did not deliver them on time, I received them on 5/1/14. When they unloaded my things I realized my brass 3-tier shelf was not on the truck. I told the movers and they said they would contact the company and let them know. I sent We Haul an e-mail with the picture of the stand that was taken a few days before pick. They finally contacted me and told me it just fell apart. That is a lie. It was in good shape in the picture and in good shape when they loaded on the truck. It is my belief that they either lost it, damaged it, or left it at the warehouse and too lazy to bring it to me. I will never use them again if I have to move.Desired Settlement: I want them to pay for it, or deliver it.
