Review: We hired this contractor called we love to fix it [redacted] owner founder ceo back on September 30,2013 with the intention of renovating our newborn baby's room with a due date of November which he said it would take 5-6 weeks to complete baby's room we was skeptic from the beginning but he said if we didnt like his work he would refund us our money our house is old and we needed our kitchen and sun porch/pantry done too so he said if we hire him to do both jobs he'll give us a discount totaling $2800 with a discount of $300 totaling $2500 this was a on sight price with the possibility of anything he finds wrong once he starts gutting the room out we'll be responsible for buying the supplies for both jobs he also had financing with no credit check he needed a deposit of $1000 to start after the check cleared he showed us pictures of his work they looked fine he also said he had a work crew but he wanted to do the job himself being he seemed legit and he was confident with his work and he knew what he was talking about we decided to hire him and we signed the contract with the minimum of $200 monthly payments and after each payment we would get a receipt with balance he started the job the following Monday he found that the walls needed replaced he said that would be $500 more with a discount off of either $200 or $300 so we agreed meanwhile our baby was born in November and the baby's room was not complete its wasnt complete until mid December the job wasnt perfect but satisfactory so we decided while he was upstairs we'll also get the bathroom renovated too which he charged $850 he started mid December this is where everything went wrong we bough all new everything for the bathroom it took entirely to long to complete with issues of scheduling,weather, personal issues from him we had to use our basement bathroom from mid December 2013 to May 2014 where to the work was so bad we didnt want our kitchen sun porch/pantry done we had to terminate our contract with himDesired Settlement: $1250 for kitchen sun porch/pantry which was never started and $850 for the bathroom water was leaking down into our kitchen from the bathtub and shower when being used he used cement hardybacker and plastic which he said would suck up any water leaks floor is uneven sink not flush with the floor shower fixtures uneven paint and sanding job horrible we terminated his services May 23,2014 due unsatisfactory work he said we needed to write a letter for why we're terminating services refund yes
