Weatherguard Systems, Inc. Reviews (1)

Review: I had gutters installed in 2002 which came with a full 20 year warranty. In 2 areas in the back of our house it is now leaking. One area has almost a 1/2 inch gap, the other area is more the size of a nail hole. I have contacted the company a total of 4 times, April 15, 21, 29, and today May 6. Twice I talked to a scheduler who would not give a date for fixing the problem. All the other times I was not able to talk to anyone, I just had to leave a message per the recorded instructions with no return call from the company. This is not acceptable. I had also called the company earlier this year and once last year to get a price on the repair of part of the gutter in the front corner of the house where a large tree had fallen on it; this I fully expected to pay for. Again, no one ever followed up on that and then the company even tried to use that as an excuse for not coming to repair the current leaks in the back of the house.Desired Settlement: The company should send someone out to make the repairs before we have water damage from this leaking.

Dear Sirs,

I wish to let you know that a service person from Weatherguard did come out and repair the gutters today. The company did tell me numerous times "how dare you" call the Revdex.com as they had planned "all along" to come and make the repairs although they did complain several times that my house is over an hour's drive away. The serviceman told me it was leaking because I had my house reroofed. He tried to say the roofers removed the gutters (they didn't; I was there) so that voided my warranty but they were repairing the gutters as a courtesy to me. Then the company wanted to know if I wanted them to repair the area where the tree had damaged the gutter (AFTER saying they were cancelling my warranty). NO THANKS!!!

I would consider this closed as Weatherguard did fix the gutter. I do not think they would have come out had I not contacted the Revdex.com and I think they cancelled the warranty because I did contact you. Thank you.
