Typically when dealing with a company that provides service I find that they are very honest with me and if the service can not be provided they let me know and I move on to a different service provider.
Webb Lake Marine had my boat for 2, 4 week periods. Once in the fall and once this spring. Neither time did they actually get to diagnosing my problem. Both times they charged me ~$100 to tell me that they could not do anything. First time, it was too late in the year (after waiting 4 weeks to get to the boat.) The next time there was another minor problem that kept them from proceeding.
They said they winterized my boat in the fall. They did not. They put the plug in the boat this spring and then let it sit in the rain so that the bottom of the boat was full of water. They made no apology for this nor did they just come out and say they did not want to work on my boat.
I will never take any work their way again nor do I recommend anyone should do this.
