This is in response to your complaint letter dated June 26, 2015. Please be advised that we heard from this customer on June 25, 2015 and processed the policy cancellation request the same day.  We have confirmed with the carrier, [redacted] Insurance, that policy is cancelled...

effective June 19, 2015 and the refund check in the amount of $164.00 was cashed by the client on July 02, 2015.  Is there is anything else we can do please contact us.

Review: My 2014-2015 homeowner insurance policy is due 10/25/2014. Starting 9/15, I was talking to one of the agent to try to find a solution of replacing the policy for next term. On 10/01, I found the money which is intended for new policy, has already been withdrawn from my escrow account without my knowledge. I immediately informed them to stop any adjustment of the policy and cancel the policy for next term. I have also completed the paperwork of the cancellation. Until today 10/27, I have not heard anything from them when the refund will be send back to me.Desired Settlement: Refund with interest

Review: busted pipe flooded house . Called insurance emergency line on Saturday. Left message at approximately 10 am, called back 4 times throughout the day. Still no response from them at 7:50 pm. House is still sitting in water as policy says to contact them prior to initiating any corrective actions.Desired Settlement: Need insurance go ahead to take corrective actions!

Response:Client stated that they called our emergency claim line several times over the weekend with no call back. We are investigating the problem with the voicemail system. The client did call back Monday morning and her claim was immediately addressed. We will continue to follow up on the claim until it is resolved.

Review: I recently sold my home which Weichert provided home insurance for. As a result, I no longer needed their insurance and wanted to cancel coverage/have the pro-rated refund sent to me. I have called their two numbers [redacted] and [redacted] so many times I lost count. Each time, the line rings for as long as 10 minutes without anyone picking up and when someone does pick up, they say an agent is the only one that is authorized to cancel a policy and they transfer you to someone's voicemail. On the voicemail, they say that cancellations cannot me left as a message and you have to speak to someone live. I've been trying for almost a week (the home sale closed on 6/19 and I started to try to cancel that day) and it is literally impossible to get someone to take your call and as a result, it has been impossible to cancel the policy.Desired Settlement: Cancel the policy and give the pro-rated refund from 06/19.
