Mr [redacted] was extremely rude and condescending to our staff. He uttered profanities at the top of his voice in the showroom to the Sales manager and then  ripped up the "coupon", leaving the trash on the showroom floor for us to clean up. He behavior was completely unacceptable. Had he...

simply contacted me that or the next day, I'm sure we could have come up with a resolution.

Revdex.com:
I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID [redacted] and have determined that this proposed action would not resolve my complaint.  For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.
There is some correct information in
their response, but little. When I arrived I requested to speak to a Sales Manager.
While I waited (1/2 hour) I spoke with Salesperson regarding the upcoming
purchase of a car for my wife. When I finally spoke with the manager it was to
voice my concern over the overbilling of my roof rack.
Up to this point I was polite and looked forward to
purchasing another vehicle from this dealer. The Sales Manager & the
Salesperson both gave me their cards and assured me I would be well taking care
of when I returned.
After this I went to the Parts Dept. to purchase the side
steps I had ordered. When I told the Parts Person what I wanted he started to
get the items. However, as he started to go into the back he noticed the coupon.
He returned to the counter and explained the Parts Manager was no longer
honoring the coupon, but he could give me a discount. As previously stated the
discount was $75.00 more than I should pay. I responded, again politely, that I
wasn't interested, but "thank-you for the offer". After all it wasn't
him; it was his manager's decision.
I left the Part's Dept. and was exiting the business when I saw
the Sales Manager and the Salesperson. I took out the business cards they gave me.
I walk up to the counter they were leaning on and put the cards on the counter.
I stated "I won't be needing these" and turned to walk away. I still
had the coupon in my hand. The coupon was obviously of no value so a tore it in
half and tossed it on one of their chairs. No profanities were used. The Sales
Manager saw this and came running after me. He was yelling and ranting about
how I wouldn't want him throwing trash in my house. He told me he didn't want
me in his store again. I told him that was no problem. I wouldn't be doing
business them. At this point we were outside with several customers around. I
still had not used any profanity or raised my voice. I just continued walking.
The manager continued yelling across the parking lot. He decided the best way
to avoid looking ridiculous in front of the customers was to yell that I had
been drinking and that I shouldn't be driving. I had one margarita with my
lunch before I arrived at the dealer. Finally I provided the Sales Manager with a two word profanity and I left.
Obviously, this dealer does not want to honor their
obligations.
Since this coupon was from their participation in the [redacted]
program I contact [redacted]. They informed me that the dealer had canceled they're
participation. At that time the dealer had not responded to other calls
regarding the coupons. [redacted] has agreed to send me a give card for their
store. I still don't have side steps, but I'll just buy them from another
dealer or online.
Regards,
[redacted]

Review: Love my new Pilot.

The buying process not so much. I wanted alloy wheels and a roof rack with white exterior. The only one they had was completely loaded with a rear entertainment center. Didn't want to pay for entertainment center with no kids. Salesperson said there was one at another dealer he could bring in, but it had a moonroof. Didn't really want a moonroof, but figured it would improve the resale. He said there would be a $300.00 transfer fee. Negotiated down to $150.00 and the truck would arrive the following day.

Went to pick up the Pilot and it didn't have the roof rack or the moonroof. Salesperson apologized he didn't know the inventory better, but this Pilot was the same price. I really needed the roof rack and I went through the [redacted] program which comes with a 50% off coupon for parts. I told the Salesperson about that. He said don't worry I'll give you a discount on the rack for only $700.00. Agreed and drove off with my new Pilot.

I decided to use my coupon for side rails and shopped Weir Canyon's website. Imagine my annoyance when I discovered I could add a roof rack with crossbars installed for $688.10. But done is done, so I ordered the side steps for $450.00 uninstalled. My coupon was for 50% off up to $200.00 or $250.00 for the side steps. They would arrive in a week.

Made the 30 minutes’ drive to the Parts Dept. When I spoke to the Parts Representative he told me the Parts Manager had decided not to honor the [redacted] coupons. He said he could offer me a discount to $325.00. I was so upset I just left. Later found sites on line for the same price.

My wife will be buying a car in the next 2 months. She may still buy a Honda Accord, but it won't be from this dealership.Desired Settlement: Sell side step rails at the discounted price of $250.00 with the [redacted] coupon and install free for my wasted time trouble.

Review: 0n 1-03-14 My wife took my car to get the differential oil change. After we pick up the car,the same day I felt the the brake pedal stiff when I was braking.I contact the dealer and they told me to take the car to inspected again.I too k the car and they told me that the brakes got overheat and they need to be replace.I told the if this is going to fix the problem it is ok to change the brakes.I paid almost $300.00 to replace the front brakes plus $ 150 for the oil change on the differential. and they call me the next day and told me Mr [redacted] your car is ready.I went to pick up the car and I feel the same problem,I almost have a car accident after they said they performed MPI world class inspection 2 times.I took the car back end they told me that they will check the car again. and today 1-13-14 they call me and told me that now they need to replace the brake booster and master cylinder. They want to charge me 1229.00 .I believe the dealer did something incorrect to my car and they need to fix it on their own expenses.Desired Settlement: Leave my car running good like I took it.Fix my car only.

To Whom It May Concern:

On January 16th on a “goodwill” gesture, Weir Canyon Acura agreed to split the cost of a new brake master cylinder and booster repair. This has corrected Mr. [redacted]’s failed parts. I assume this complaint was made before we made this agreement. I assume Mr. [redacted] is happy.

Thanks,
