Don’t walk, run screaming from this place.
Owner and his wife will boast how their priorities are customer service and quality of work. Don’t be duped into believing their lines. There are countless horror stories in and around Spring about their shoddy workmanship and business practices. Just ask around in your circle of friends, at least one will have a terrible experience about [redacted].
Here’s mine:
Bait and Switch is [redacted] normal bidding process so beware. The Owner’s nephew shorted the quote by 1,500 square feet, to beat a competitor’s bid and win the work. I understand 50 or 100 feet, but 1,500? We found this out when the job was ¾ complete, with [redacted] requesting $2,500 more cash for materials to finish the work. Be extremely cautious here folks; remember if you are crazy enough to get a bid from [redacted] compare footage against other bids to ensure accuracy. They will try to pull a fast one on you every time, trust me. Just recently, they did it to my neighbor across the street, who is remodeling his master bath. Three days into the demo, [redacted] came back and stated it would be $4k more. My neighbor refused, [redacted] crew left, so he fired them off the job and hired another company.
Back to my nightmare. The job, which was slated for 5 days, started out great. The first crew made much progress. The next day a second crew came in with all different guys, and the trouble began. Inconsistent patterns, poor tile cuts, laying chipped tiles, and leaving large spaces/gaps in the grout areas was the beginning. Then, instead of charcoal grout, they used a light grey, which was nowhere near the color we selected. The correct grout was on the packing list, they just didn't review it properly, and applied the grout without checking it was correct. Spent the next three to four days with the third crew trying to scrape out the wrong grout. Nothing was taped or screened off. The grout dust covered every inch of the house. They were able to get 1/8 of an inch out on most areas. I voiced concern that the charcoal grout would not stick, and would eventually begin to chip out. Owners assured me that wouldn’t happen, but this is exactly what has happened. Other areas had grout lines with very shallow spots, so the light grey grout shows through the charcoal grout. The project eventually finished after 11 days, with a fourth crew finishing. Yes, it took 4 different crews to tile the Living, Breakfast, Kitchen, and Formal Dining rooms. I held back the second payment due to all the problems. Owner’s wife promised to have the grout “dyed” which is actually hand painting all the grout lines, which was going to take another 8 days to complete. I declined the dye, and requested a refund to have the floor completely torn out and redone by a company that can actually lay tile properly. This is when all responses and follow ups from [redacted] (Owner and Wife) stopped.
Run, run screaming…

Beverly Whitcomb is the worst property manager I have every experienced. Her lack of communication is very unprofessional, does not respond promptly to emails, blocks clients phone numbers, and hangs up on her clients. I have never been so upset with a company nor have I ever filed a complaint to this level, but that is how awful she is. The Arizona rental law states that you must give a tenant 48 hours notice, Beverly makes her owners give tenants 5 days notice. The other irritating thing is you have to have a set time with when you want to view your property, other property managers I have talked with give a window, but she does not allow this.
I would never recommend this incompetent lady to anyone, nor do I want anyone else to go through what I did. I will never work with this company and I highly recommend Beverly Whitcomb to be reprimanded for what she has put me through.
