My adult son had attempted to manage his cyclical depression and euphoria with cannabis and alcohol. His behavior and his moods became out of control and he ended up in jail after he thought he saw Tupac in his reflection. He bounced from jail to different treatment to different hospitals. He eventually was turned away because no facility in our home state of Virginia could understand how to treat him. This is crucial for bipolar patients whose medication needs have to be closely monitored to relieve mania and depression and then stabilize the patient. Dr. [redacted] welcomes patients when others turn them away. I'm most grateful for that.
Over the years, I have helped many family members and friends get into various treatment programs. Unfortunately, many of these treatment centers did not provide the level of care they promised. Recently, I was introduced to Wellington Retreat and was impressed by what I heard from people who completed their treatment there. I've been practicing abstinence , using the life and recovery skills since my discharge there.I have a little over 3 years clean from this centers efforts to help me when other centers wern't able to.Strong treatment for stubborn disease.
Dr [redacted] was more than helpful when I needed someone to help me during my time of need. I feel much better than before, as he taught me how to cope with my problems in order to overcome them.
