Review: I purchased 2 new doors to be installed. After going over this order my main concern was that these doors are to be self locking and self closing. This is a property rental and the building must be secured at all times for safety issues. I am responsible to make sure that the building is secure at all time. The doors that I had before were self closing and self locking. The 2 new doors are not self closing which means that they are not self locking as well. I paid over $4,600.00 for these doors. My tenants are complaining that unless they physically pull the doors closed they will not lock. I could have left the old doors on, there was nothing wrong with them, I just decided to change them for cosmetics reason. So after paying $4,600.00 these doors do not self close or self lock. I am subjected to a potential law suit for not securing the building. I know this from a prior experience concerning this matter where I was taken to court for not securing my building where the tenant in the building was robbed. I do not want to go done that road again. This will also affect my insurance for not securing the building.Desired Settlement: I want this company to come back and fix this issue. These 2 new doors must be self closing and self locking. That is what I had requested from the beginning. When these doors were order John the salesman knew that this was one of my biggest concerns. I want Wendel to come and do whatever is necessary to fix this problem. And I also do not expect to be charged for something that was suppose to be done from the begining.

They have advised us to replace the middle hinge on both doors, which should alleviate the problem, caused by an air pocket between the two doors. We've been in contact with the customer and we will be replacing the hinges upon receipt from the manufacturer.I will give you a follow up to this complaint when the hinges are replaced. This matter has not yet been resolved, the company in question still has to come to make the necessary repairs, we are trying to set a date at this time. So please do not close this case until they come to do the repair. If after they do the repair and the issue is resolved I will get intouch with Revdex.com and let you know that this case can then be closed.
