by State Farm shortly after the repairs.  We are surprised to hear of any issue, and would be more than happy to take a look at the vehicle and make a necessary repair or fix if there is any issue caused by any repair work we had done.  We do not believe any refund would be due as the invoices for the work have already been paid in full by the insurer and the repairs had been completed.  We believe an inspection by us and remedy of any issue caused by any repair we had done would be the appropriate remedy.            Thank for the opportunity to respond to this filed complaint, and please do not hesitate to let us know if you have any questions.Sincerely,[redacted]Wesner Auto Body

Review: Vehicle was brought in for an estimate on an insurance claim. I had stated at drop off that I would need to decide whether or not I would like to repair it or not due to the age. No signature or authorization was given. I also was concerned that the vehicle needed to be looked at by a qualified Mercedes mechanic for non body/mechanical damage (The frame had damage on the vehicle, have pictures while it was disassembled at west side auto, a wheel was hit, error lights on, leading me to believe mechanical issues occurred). I was assured it would all be looked at.

I called to inquire on the status of the estimate after a couple of days, and was told they were just finishing up repair. I mentioned I did not ask for the car to be repaired nor receive an estimate for the work. The person on the phone apologized and said that they should have checked with me first. After I raised the issue with them and the insurance company the shop staff did not acknowledge me at pickup, provide any paperwork, bill, or collect a payment of deductible, just handed me the key with no words. It was very intimidating and felt like they treated me as I was doing something wrong for asking these questions.

After I took the car, the front suspension went out within 10 minutes of driving. By the time I got it into another shop, they noted there was damage done to the transfer case of my vehicle due to driving without the suspension on an angle. I have record of this issue and expense to an authorized Mercedes mechanic for this diagnosis. I have since had many other issues with the vehicle that did not exist prior, from a previously very reliable vehicle.

I contacted the shop multiple times to ask for a record of authorization and was told to contact my insurance company and that they don't have that. The document I received from state farm however has Wesner Autos header on it and is noted "Written By: [redacted], 8/14/2015 8:11:13 AM", so the estimate was written well AFTER the repair work was performed.

I then contacted state farm and they provided a copy of the estimate with no signature, and have no record of an authorization for payment. It was suggested I contact an attorney as this money should be reimbursed to me as it is illegal to perform repair without authorization. They have been made aware however I am hoping the Revdex.com is able to help with this before pursuing that route. Please contact me if you need any more details or copies of any of my documentation.
