West 10 Car Wash

Review: I was referred to this place by a family member after hearing that they provide vacuums for free to use to clean your car. I went to the place and there were two areas to vacuum your car one before the car wash and one after. The area before the wash had vacuums that you simply press the button and they work. I didn't need a car wash and didn't have any cash on me so I vacuumed my car with the free vacuum and was about to leave. Since I wasn't getting a car wash I was confused on which way to leave so I attempted to exit the entrance. This is where the owner [redacted] pulled her car in front of my car to block me from exiting, she then further took action by approaching my car and popping her head into my window and assertively demanding I get my car washed. She said something along the lines of don't you speak English, can't you read "free vacuum with car wash." You can't use this vacuum unless you go through the car wash. Then she demanded I go through the car wash and threatened to call the cops if I did not. Then I reversed my car and pulled up to the car wash and she followed assuring I paid for a car wash. This was a simple misunderstanding I had heard the vacuum was free. The sign did say free vacuum with car wash, but there were vacuums after the wash which were the vacuums I thought they were referring to since these vacuums just turned on with a hit of a button. The owner would of heard this if she didn't so rudely and assertively verbally attack me. I even at one point considered washing my car there but then remembered I had no cash on me and I think its rude not to be able to tip someone after they wash your car, so I decided against it. I even informed the lady I had no cash but didn't want any issues since she seemed she already had some so I said do you take credit cards. She said yes and I paid with a credit card. Forcing someone to get a car wash is unethical and illegal but I'm not going to court over eight dollars.Desired Settlement: It was a misunderstanding and you would of heard that if you had asserted me in a proper manner and not like a crazy woman. The way you talk to customers is not only inappropriate for a business owner but you looked like you could honestly use some help. I recommend you go back to business school and learn how to run one.
