Werecently received a complaint from a formerresident in regardto move out chargesThecomplaint we
received stated they were
charged $for wiping out drawerTheir charges
consisted of carpet cleaning, paint throughout andclean of windowseals, drawers and cabinetsUponmove out,a member of
our
community walked the apartment after keys hadbeen turned into the office.Pictu res weretakenand uploaded to the tenant's accounts {Please see attachment)The total amountdue was $Out of the totalamount only $wenttoward cleaning of thedrawers, cabinets and window seals(Please see attachment).As stated in the lease and during the time of move in/out, tenants are responsible for cleaning the apartmentThey are also
responsible for carpet cleaningIf the tenants provide the
office with a receipt from a carpet cleaning company, then the carpet cleaning fee will not apply If they do not wish to havetheir own carpet cleaned then a carpet cleaning fee will apply ($40)If we must send the cleaners in for any reason, there is an itemized charge associated with each item that was missed during their clean and that is how the charges came out to be what they are
