I still do not agree with this balance because this firm is saying that the credit card did not have a 200.00 then why haven't they sent any information v the original limit on the card...and they are saying that they did not use any scare tactics they told me that they were sending sheriff's out to arrest me for a lawsuit filed against me and was trying to get me to give them my credit card information over the phone which I do not do...I contacted credit one bank they could not find an account with this balance that they claim I owe nor is this showing up on my credit report. ..I do not owe this

Review: I recieved a message at work that I needed to call West and Associates ASAP. I recongnized the phone number but not the name.. When I returned the phone call, sure enough, [redacted] and Associates had changed their name to West and Associates (confirmed by receptionist). [redacted] and Associates contacted me last year regarding same debt, Chase/Providian Card, and threatened to sue me if I didn't pay. They collected over $500.00 from me last year. Things got suspicious when I never could get more information regarding the debt. It was always "we will sue for the full $3700.00 if you don't pay". [redacted] and Associates may have changed their name to West and Associates but their tactics are the same. The more questions I asked the worse it got. Again, they are threatening to sue me for $3700.00. I have contacted Chase Card Recovery Dept and spoke with Chatty (1-866-335-4158). He stated that he showed an account from 2002 but it has been closed. I have pulled all 3 credit reports and nothing is listed. I have asked for a itemized statement but all I recieved was a FINAL NOTICE and how they are currently searching for assests to prepare to sue me. Nothing West and Associates aka [redacted] and Associates has been solid information. We paid all of our credit cards off in 2005 when my husband returned from Iraq with the exception of a Fashion Bug Card that was taken out in 2009 or 2010. I have never had a credit card with a limit of over $500.00 with the exception of my husband's accounts with STAR Card (military) and a master card through the Air Force. I have found a lot of information on the internet warning that this company is a scam. [redacted] and Associates has an (F) rating with the Revdex.com and all complaints are similar to mine. They are trying to scare people into giving them money. This debt is not mine!Desired Settlement: I want the phone calls to stop! Especially to my work. They got an easy $500.00 from me last year and I refuse to give them any more until I have solid proof regarding this debt. I want this matter closed.

About a year ago she was provided with validation of the debt and that we owned this debt she had with [redacted] Bank, account number [redacted]XXXX. Like she stated, she did make 2 payments back in 2014 and then she stopped the following payments. Review: This law firm says I am being sued for 3477.15 from company credit one...the card had a 200.00 max limit and this balance do sent show up on my credit report and they are trying to use scare tactics to get me to pay for something I feel that I don't owe.Desired Settlement: I would like for these people to stop harassing me
