my pool heater wasn't working and I had family coming in on the 1st of july so A-1 pool came out on the 29th of june the guy that came out just complane abouthe pump the vent on the heater and told it was going to cost us 4 TO 5 hundred dollors to fix ..wouldn;t even try to fix it .. so my family from pittsburg swim in 68 degree water for two days on the 3rd I had another pool guy come in to 2hrs he had the heater on and my family swim in 79 degree water before they left ..thank u TOM.. SO WHO U HAVE FOR YOUR REPAIR GUY NOT SO GOOD
Late one afternoon, this week, a hose split on my pool pump with a pool party planned for the following day. I took the hose to A-1 Pool and they did not have a replacement hose that would fit, but [redacted] immediately made one for me; which worked. Once again, they came through.
These guys are crooked all they want to to do Is sell you something and are over priced, I now use [redacted] in Kenosha with free shipping, and get my supply for quarter of the cost. Dale quoted me a used heater for $80 that was on his scrap pile that might work or might not, no guarantees, that he was going to junk out, and get $5 if he's lucky evendors though he sas he will get $80, (not sure how a $116.70 per ton) ....1.5 weeks later I returned to talk about the heater, he said he talked to his service tech and the heat exchanger was likly plugged. I told him $50 was what I would pay as is, he said $200, I remind him that he told me $80 and he state that's before I new what was wrong with it.....I walked out the door with no plans to return. ... Thanks Dale your a Thief. A1 charged me $100.00 to remove high phosphates from my pool with a 1 qrt product [redacted] $24.99 same product. save your money don't waste it here. [redacted] also does free water testing....
