Dear agent of Revdex.comThank you so much for following up the caseYes, we got $check deposited and it is good.We really appreciate your help [redacted]

When we sold the customer an Equinox Opening Roof system the Louver Blade was made from *** and had problems with rustingThe sales person was unaware that Equinox was made from steel, therefor we gave the customer an upgraded blade made out of Extruded AluminumThe upgraded louver we installed
is constructed of much thicker and better materialThe home owners loved the system and were very happy with the productWe had to pay extra out of our pocket to get this Aluminum blade ordered and installedAt that point we were trying to do the best thing for our customer to make sure they are completely satisfied and happy with their patio cover. The rain sensor was part of the contract and must have not been installed at the day of installationWhen the customer called us that they needed a new remote we tried to find out what kind of remote it was because they don't have any visible part numbers and the remotes keep improving every year. We have talked with the customer and told them all of this over the phone yesterdayWe told the home owner *** that we will order a new remote with a rain sensor and when that ships in will install it right awayWe asked him to call Revdex.com and remove the complaint since we thought we resolved the issue over the phone and to save us trouble of involving the Revdex.comAt no point did we threaten or offer the customer an exchange so if thy remove the complaint we would install the rain sensorIt seams like there was a misunderstanding. I have ordered the newest remote control and rain senor for the customer and will install this asap. Thanks, *** ***

Dear agent of Revdex.comThank you so much for following up the case. Yes, we got $8000 check deposited and it is good.We really appreciate your help[redacted]

Review: Early February, 2014 we received a quote for a patio cover. Mid-May, 2014 it was installed. One feature it had was a rain sensor to automatically close when it started to rain. Since we received little rain last year, we were never really sure if that worked. We ordered an additional remote control in September, 2015. Prior to the new remote being delivered and programmed, we were told by [redacted] that what is ordered and what is installed isnt always the [redacted]e thing. During several conversations with [redacted] he too confirmed our system wasnt an Equinox but an Apollo. When the guys came to program the remote, they also confirmed the rain sensor is not installed and this is not an Equinox product. In addition to this very brief summary, there have been several other instances including them setting up the financing and misrepresenting the install date to the bank; not keeping appointments; no returned calls; and the statement from [redacted] they dont have time to worry about customer service. [redacted] accused us of not being understanding, not being patient and we should be grateful we are receiving an upgraded and free remote. The remote is NOT upgraded and at no time did we expect a free remote. I have tried to upload a more detailed account of events, however your website won't upload. I tried both Word and PDF files.Desired Settlement: On the [redacted] website, West Coast Exteriors is no longer a distributor of their product. At no time, were we told by [redacted] or [redacted] they didn't handle the product. We want whatever is installed to be replaced with what we paid for, an Equinox Louvered Roof. It is to be insulated, have the rain sensor and a remote as indicated on the work order. The total cost of this was $18,964. We paid cash, $3,964 and financed $15k through [redacted].
