WestBend Housewares Reviews (2)

Review: My microwave dish cracked in the microwave and the company was spouse to send me a new one this has been going on since the end of March of this year 2014. They gave me every excuse and I have been patient with them. Now it getting out of hand and I can't even use the microwave with out it. I told them That I am going to contact you guys and they seem scared. That they were going to send it right away and this was two weeks ago.Desired Settlement: I would like my dish for the microwave to be send out to me so I can start using my microwave again.

Review: Thanks Revdex.com for taking my complaint: I've been purchasing appliance parts at WestBend.com for over 1 year now and have never run into such a problem as I'm having now. Recently I began repeatedly purchasing several of part number P118-38 "Knead Blades, Set of 2" for $3.69 each. Several of the shipments arrived only 1/2 fulfilled, ie if I placed an order for 5 (Sets of 2) I received only 5 (Each). Viewing the enclosed packing order I was able to identify what was causing the issue. The website says “Set of 2” but the warehouse order says EA for each rather than PR for pair. I pointed that out to WestBend via email and safely assumed to issue was resolved. The proceeding two orders arrived also missing 1/2 their contents. I email WestBend again. They asked that I telephone a female employee by the name of [redacted] explained to me that P118-38 "is for our customers". Rather insulted by that remark, I reminder her that I am also a WestBend customer. She went on to point out that my larger-than-usual re-occurring purchases were disrupting the normal flow of WestBend's replacement part sales. I kindly told her that it's WestBend's problem not mine, even going as far as to suggest that she contact those in the warehouse responsible for re-ordering parts and tell them that I plan to purchase 10 to 20 pairs twice per week indefinitely. Problem solved, right? Nope, not really. So I place another order, 10 (Sets of 2) early this morning. I get a phone call from [redacted]. She boldly asks me if I'm purchasing these knead blades for use with brands other than WestBend. She goes on to ask if I'm a parts re-seller. To both questions I replied "no comment" for I felt her line of questioning was rude, invasive and inappropriate. In summary, I feel as though I'm being punished for giving my business to WestBend and that's just not right. And they've yet to ship the 10 individual knead blades they still owe me nor have they shipped the order I placed earlier this morning. ;(Desired Settlement: I want the 10 knead blades owed to me shipped immediately along with the order I placed earlier today, I want an apology via email, I want future orders to arrive fulfilled, and I want [redacted] to stop prying into my business and calling me on the telephone. I buy, WestBend ships, no questions asked.
