A "true racist" is always looking for someone else who is a racist even to the point of accusing others of being a racist.

Review: The school is deceptive in its practices in accounting for training, exploitative of its students in meeting that prerogative, and delivers sub-par training. Further, I witnessed what I believe to be the school attempting to cover up damage to a load-bearing beam a truck had run into. Part of my complaint defends the one made by someone else closed on 10/26/2015. The president of the school outlined supposed extra hours of training given to the student. The organization that funded my training with the school was given fallacious days in which I was trained based on my signing in at the office. The insulting irony of this situation is that I was told to come in on those days only to discover, after having signed in, that there was no training available for me on that day. My time, fuel and patience were wasted. Since exact hours were given, president presumably based his hours of training on the students logbooks. First of all, the extra training time was shared with other students. My ,"extra" training time tended to be shared with 3 or more (up to 8) other students. Let me explain a little bit about this "extra" training. When my group was training, We would have to share our training time with other students getting this, extra training. What they did was impose these students upon another training group so they shared our time, thus detracting from our training time that wasn't, "extra". Then any training after graduating is considered extra, even though we already lost training from the school imposing others getting this, "extra" training. Further, the school does sketchy things like have us come in on Christmas Eve. We show up, sign in, start our logbooks, only to discover that like 12 of us are supposed to share the same single trainer and tractor. To make matters worse, their tractor broke... I ran out of characters. I have much more to say.Desired Settlement: I just wish I didn't go there. I feel that my resources, as well as other people's, has been wasted with my attending. I doubt there is a resolution that would sate me. A refund would be nice, but it doesn't right the wrongs to myself and other students.

In response to the complaint received on 11/23/2015 from

[redacted], Mr. [redacted] was enrolled in our Class A CDL training program

from December 11, 2014 to February 4, 2015. He completed the entire

course as per his contract, and attended additional training after that.The

instructors that worked with him all agreed that he was doing fine and

progressing as he should. When it came time for his Skills Test at the

DMV, he failed his Air Brake Safety Check. He said he failed but the way

he performed the test is more precise than the way the tester wanted it.

He also stated that the woman testing him didn't have a CDL and that he

had argued with pretty much every one there at the DMV, but got no where.

Further he said if I get that "Black Woman" again I'm walking

away before I even get tested. These statements are directly from an

email he sent to us on February 17, 2015. We

have copies of numerous emails from Mr. [redacted] blaming everyone from the

agency that was paying for his training to everyone at Western Pacific

Truck School,

and DMV examiners as the various reasons for his failures. These emails

are filled with remarks and language that I won't put in this response.

We have all of these emails to substantiate what has occurred and been

negative statements on social media websites including using various false

names. Western

Pacific Truck

School has a

placement rate of 85%+. These placements represent our students that have

completed, tested and started new careers. We have many major trucking

companies such as [redacted] and many more including many local companies that send their

recruiters to our schools in an attempt to hire our students prior to

graduation because they know our students receive quality training.Western Pacific

Truck School did everything

possible for Mr. [redacted] and we are very sorry he feels the way he does.

As for as a refund, Mr. [redacted]'s training was paid for by a third party

agency and he is owed no refund.We

also received a negative Revdex.com customer review on December 1, 2015 by Mr.

This isn’t a response to my complaints so much as an attack

on my character in an attempt demean the credibility of my statements. WPTS said,“When it came time for his Skills Test at the DMV, he failed his Air

Brake Safety Check. He said he failed but the way he performed the test

These statements are directly from an email he sent to us on February 17,

2015. “The implication that I am or said anything racist is laughable. I did not know the name of my examiner, but

she was the only African American inspector at the location – her skin color was

an obvious description. Putting, “Black

Woman” in quotation marks also makes it sound like I used an ethnic slur, which

I did not. I actually hung out with one

of their trainers, who was also black, that entire day, to see how my fellow

students were doing. The majority

failed. Secondly, I performed the governor cut in check the same

exact way my trainer every day, and I was not corrected. The examiner failed me

because I, “did not wait long enough” before pressing the brake for a chance

for the governor to cut in. I made a

very justifiable argument by showing them exactly how the California Commercial

Drivers Handbook described the test, which stated absolutely no duration to

wait between brake application. Further,

I checked the federal handbook and saw no such duration. I even contacted the

man in charge of the handbook, and he could provide no validity to my reason

for failure. However, I did talk to

every examiner at the DMV, and they all claimed it was a justified reason for

failure. I also talked to the other

trainers at WPTS and they said it was known that that was a basis for failure.

My instructor alone did not know. I warned my fellow students that day before

they took their test so they would not fall victim to the same thing. While it was only stated by WPTS to make me

sound argumentative, my method for testing the air brakes is actually more

precise than what the examiner wanted, but the reasons for that are off topic. I did not want the examiner I had again

because she also said I did not inspect many things I had – she passed me on my

pre-trip inspection anyway, but with a much lower score than I should have

gotten. Both of my instructors at the school gave me near perfect

scores, but I was by all measures an incompetent driver.WPTS said,“Mr. [redacted] was enrolled in our Class A CDL training program from

per his contract, and attended additional training after that.” The school misleads people into accounting for training they

were not provided. We are told to fill

out logbooks in specific ways to meet DOT standards, and that is used as proof

of training, even if most of that time had no training involved at. There was

absolutely no attempt at all to address my accusation that they have people

account for training when no training was provided. (Like the day they had us

come on Christmas eve only to find one trainer for all of us, one truck, and

the truck broke down moments later.) -

probably because it can’t be defended.WPTS said,“Western Pacific Truck School has not and does not falsify documents.

the contrary, I claim that they mislead people into providing documentation with

false implications. Further, they made

false statements to the organization that funded me about me, but nothing of

that was documented. At that time, I was able to prove these accusations were

incorrect from phone logs, but the organization did not care to let me follow

through. I have not posted negative comments on social media websites

for months. I posted a negative review on October 27, 2015 on Facebook under my

actual name, and I have defended that review as is necessary since. (which has

required making new accounts with the same name since the school blocks me.)

Perhaps they believe that I am also someone else that is dissatisfied with the

school, or perhaps they are lying. I

also posted negative reviews on yelp and google, both of which are also under

my real name. Further, I had social

media sites take down false reviews. The most recent annual report on the Stockton campus puts

the exam passage rate at 55%. This can be seen on their own website: [redacted] Some of their numbers don’t pass a simple

logic check, but that is a tangent that would bore people from reading more

important matters. WPTS said, “We have many major trucking companies such as [redacted] and many more

including many local companies that send their recruiters to our schools in an

attempt to hire our students prior to graduation because they know our students

receive quality training.”Those recruiters also post ads on [redacted]; does that mean

craigslist is also a place to find quality training? Or maybe just a beating

heart and the ability to turn a steering wheel, hopefully without hitting

something. WPTS said,“Western Pacific Truck School did everything possible for Mr. [redacted]

and we are very sorry he feels the way he does. As for as a refund, Mr.

[redacted]'s training was paid for by a third party agency and he is owed no

refund.”You did everything possible for me? I could write a book on

the ways you failed me and other students. Having me show up for training and

sign in, only to discover that there was no one or no truck to train me really

helped, especially since you used that as proof that you had given me

additional training to the organization funding me. It also really helps to be trained in a way

specific to a certain trailer, only to be provided a different trailer to take

the exam in. Or how about when I requested

the only truck you have that isn’t garbage for the last exam, and you gave me a

junk truck I’d never trained in at all, after literally months without any OTR

practice at all. (You wouldn’t even let me drive there for practice.) And this is the tip of the iceberg. You did

everything you could for me… It’s a bit

late to pretend anything of the sort, especially after your long attempt to

attack my character before it.WPTS said, “We also received a negative Revdex.com customer review on December 1, 2015 by

Mr. [redacted] and this response should also answer that review.”They took it down already. You do not have to worry. Further, the last time I was there, there was a load bearing

beam holding up the overhang of the garage that has a slight buckle in it from

where a truck hit it. There was also paint in the buckle where the truck caught

it. I am uncertain if they have had it

inspected or replaced, but the last time I discussed it, a trainer from the

school denied it had even happened.

Review: $1095 was required by WPTS as a deposit. After a week in the classroom I had my first day out in the yard. This day was my first time wraring my new prescription eye glasses, wich are higher. Less than an hour starting my training I passed out during a 10 minute break. I was told by the school I could no longer go through the program unless checked out by a doctor. All this being said here.... I'VE CALLED MULTIPLE TIMES ABOUT MY DEPOSIT BEING REFUNDED AND THE SCHOOL SEEMS TO BE DODGING ME. I FINALLY GOT THROUGH TO SOMEONE AND THAT PERSON SAID I OWE MONEY.... CANNOT GET THAT MONEY BACK. THIS DOES NOT SEEM RIGHT TO ME AND I KNOW I AM BEING LIED TO, ROBBED FOR MY MONEY. In response to Complaint ID# [redacted], Mr. [redacted] enrolled in our Tractor Trailer Operator Program that began on April 14, 2016 and was scheduled to end on June 6, 2016. Mr. [redacted] attended 42 hours of the program. On April 25, 2016 while attending training he lost consciousness and appeared to have some type of seizure. He was taken to the hospital by ambulance. He informed us that after he arrived at the hospital he was feeling better and left prior to being checked by a Doctor. When he lost consciousness he immediately became medically unqualified per Federal Department of Transportation Regulations. Mr. [redacted] at no time gave us a return to duty status clearance from a Doctor and subsequently he was dropped from the course as we were unable to continue his training without this. Mr. [redacted] financed the program through Western Pacific Truck School. He made a down payment of $1,095.00 with a balance remaining of $3,700.00. The program is a total of 160 hours of which he attended 42 hours (26.25% of the program). Per our refund policy which is in our school catalog (this policy is per the guidelines required by the State of California) Mr. [redacted] owed $1479.94 for the training hours he received. He made a down payment of $1,095.00 which leaves a balance owed of $384.94. While we are very sorry for Mr. [redacted]’s medical situation that caused this, we ultimately have the duty and responsibility for the safety of our staff and students as well as the general public on the road to ensure our drivers are medically qualified per DOT regulations. However, Western Pacific Truck School would be willing to forgive the remaining $384.94 balance that he still owes. [redacted]President/CEO

I am rejecting this response because: First off..... I have no concerns about being dismissed from this CDL-A training program, only my deposit being refunded. Second off.... I DID NOT EXECUTE A TOTAL OF 42 HOURS; being in the classroom and my first day out in the yard (which was approx. 45 minutes) yielded only half of those 42 hours. All of this being said.... I understand having to pay a fee of $50 for materials/books, which was stated on my records/receipts. Thus, for not continuing this program I SHOULD BE REFUNDED THE $1045 RESIDUAL DUE TO ME. I know that I am not being treated fairly and that I am being cheated out of what's rightfully mine.

Our records show Mr. [redacted] initialed his attendance for 42 hours of our 160 hour training program. Our refund policy is that a student may receive a pro-rated refund if he/she has completed sixty (60) per cent or less of the period of attendance. I am rejecting this response because: I DID NOT put in 42 hours, only the first week in the classroom, which is under 42 hours. After completing the classroom I barely started the first day of my training out in the yard. Furthermore; on that day I barely spent an hour, if even that. I had some kind of " pass-out spell" and the instructor called EMS. After leaving the ER department I simply left. The next day I talked to WPTS administration and was told I was dismissed, until being seen and deemed medically safe by the Dept of Transportation. All this being said here; I know I legally have the right to be refunded my downpayment. I didn't quit my attendance here at Western Pacific, something happened that sabotaged it.1 week (5 business days) in the classroom, about 6 hours each day, and no more than 1 hour out in the yard is the total time I have spent at WPTS. All this being said here, I have the EMS and ER bills that state the time and dates of my incident out in the yard. Also, Classroom time wasn't necessary..... I already had a CDL-A permit well before my attendance at WPTS.

Review: mistakes were made by instructor who was sick from the fist week of school that students had to make up for.an instructor got in my face & yelled at me at the top of his lungs first day in truck because I calmly explained why I went over the center line in a business park with no other traffic that same instructor yelled at me in the yard for the same things he didn t yell at other students for & the only difference I believe is because I paid my tuition & they were worknet students , he also blocked my cones while I was backing & complained about my backing at the same time which was witnessed by two other instructors,he also unhooked my airlines twice to mess with me so I would have to leave the truck &reconnect them , I also had 6 different instructors in 7 weeks who all told me different things , I also had to spend more time on pre trip inspections than I needed because of broken down trucks & the modesto & sacramento schools using our trucks for dmv testing , & had to share driving time with other students who weren t in my class but the worst part was when they hired an instructor who I was told wasn t a real instructor & just drove trucks to dmv he didnt teach me anything for three weeks & when I asked questions he just yelled & told me to turn the wheels right & left & I was told he was fired because the next batch of students wouldn t train with him & as far as I m concerned the school still owes me three continuous weeks of training , I ve received so much stress from this school I not only hate it but don t like being there or even calling there & the only reason I put up with all of this is because the school told me they would help me obtain my cdl until I did, & I didn t miss any class time & was never late & am current on my payments to the school but when I missed two dmv apointments due to illness & called in before apts they dropped me & said it was because it cost them $400.00 which I think is unfair because they charge $1000.00 dollars more than academy truck schoolDesired Settlement: I would rather get a refund & finish obtainining my cdl at another school but I will do it at this school if possible because time is important to me

Mr. [redacted] enrolled in our Tractor Trailer Operator Program that began on October 9, 2014 and completed on December 2, 2014. He signed a contract for 160 Hours of Training. Mr. [redacted] attended 42 Hours of Classroom. After completing the classroom portion, he took his written test at DMV and received his CDL Learner’s Permit. His first drive test appointment was then scheduled for December 18, 2014. The Drive Test appointments are scheduled through the Department of Motor Vehicles and are 30-45 days out. We have no control over getting sooner appointments.Mr. [redacted] then attended 120 hours of Practical Training in and around the truck. He completed the practical training. We took him to DMV for his practical drive test on December 18th and he failed the skills portion of the test. We immediately rescheduled a test for him with the DMV for February 12, 2015 (this was the first available appointment with DMV).Mr. [redacted] was given 12 additional hours of training at no additional charge from December 18, 2014 to February 12, 2015. The morning of February 12th at about 7:20 AM, Mr. [redacted] called and advised [redacted], the Campus Manager, that he could not make his test because he had a headache. [redacted] advised him to see if he could take something or rest and try and get rid ofhis headache because if he had to reschedule his test it would be another 30-45 days out.Mr. [redacted] did not show up for his test appointment on February 12th. We then scheduled another test for him and were able to get it for March 3, 2015 at 8:00 AM. Mr. [redacted] was then given 6½ additional hours of training (2½ hours on February 25th, and 4 hours on Feb. 26th) at no additional charge.He called once again on March 3, 2015 and said that he couldn’t make it, that he had a headache. [redacted] advised him that he could not continue training him and was going to have to drop him.Mr. [redacted] was in my office on April 8th and we had a conversation. Mr. [redacted] told me that he no longer had a toothache and he was ready to train some more and test again. I advised Mr. [redacted] that I would check into it and someone would let him know. After reviewing the student file and speaking with [redacted], it was determined that we had more than fulfilled our obligation to Mr. [redacted] and there was nothing more we could do for him.Mr. [redacted] received 18½ additional hours of training beyond the 160 hours for the course. These hours and dates are noted on his daily training card and are listed below. We also had truck and instructor available for all of his scheduled DMV test appointments. He continued to cancel his test appointments and we have gone above and beyond to try and help him get hisCommercial Drivers License.Regarding the disputed amount $5820: Mr. [redacted] made a down payment of $1095 (in two payments of $547.50 each) plus $2.50 for the Student Tuition Recovery Fund Fee (which is paid to the Bureau for Private Postsecondary Education) and he financed the remaining amount of $3700 for the course. He has made payments as follows:$75.00 payment due 1/16 and paid on 1/23 (late charge was applicable, however we did not charge him) $75.00 payment due on 2/16 and paid on 2/18 (late charge was applicable, however we did not charge him)$152.43 payment due on 3/16 and paid on 4/7 (late charge of $10.00 was applied - total paid was 162.43)$152.43 payment due on 4/16 and paid on 4/7 As of 04/21/15: Payments made on the financed balance total $454.86 (earned interest 219.07 and principle payment of 235.79) and balance due if paid on this date (4/21/15) is $3,464.21.The cost of the course he enrolled in is as follows:Tuition - $4,495.00STRF Fee - $2.50Registration Fee - $250.00Supplies - $50.00Total - $4,797.50Mr. [redacted] also paid for incidental expenses (these costs are paid to a third party service provider):DMV Driving Record Printout - $5.00DMV Permit Fee - $70.00DOT Physical - $60.00DOT Drug Testing Program - $75.00Total Incidental Expenses - $210.00The terms and amounts due are as reflected on his Enrollment Agreement and Tuition Installment Contract. I am rejecting this response because their facts are scethy & untrue we still have the fact that 3 out of my 6 weeks of skills training were wasted by the instructor they hired & all of my other claims which were not disputed & hurt my education & caused a great deal of stress & the additional training hrs are misleading because what they don t tell you is that I had to share those sessions with 3 or 4 other students like regular class , & I think an investigation is in order because those hrs don t match my records or log books , also iv e never missed anything because of a headache & unlike what mr. vanallen said I missed my feb 12th apt because I d been up most of the night with a headache & according to the dept of transportation it s illeagal to drive with a lack of sleep for public safety reasons ,its also ileagal to drive when your e sick too & I was sick on march 3rd& not capable of getting behind the wheel of a big rig safely that day & I was not notified that I would be dropped & I refuse to pay $5,820.40 according to my contract to wpts & an additional $4000.00 to another school complete wpts s promiss & commitment help me get my cdl until I obtain it & Iv e read my contract & student catalog & have abided by the rules of both & didn t see any provision that allows them to drop me so if there is such a provision I would like to know what it is so I ll know whether or not to take this matter to small claims court

Review: Unsatified with services, being told to sign documents pertaining to DOT without accurate knowledge of documents or curriculum. Also being giving cheatsheets without accurate knowledge of curriculum and being told not to worry about things. Racial slurs being made and threats of violence I've also experienced at Western Pacific Truck School.Desired Settlement: Funds returned to the Department of Rehabilitation and complaint publicize through the veiwing for other students.

In response to the complaint received, the Complainant enrolled in our Class A Commercial Drivers License Program that was scheduled to start September 24, 2015 and to complete on November 13, 2015.The first 40 hours of the program is five 8-hour days of Classroom training. During this time the complainant left class early 2 days, October 1st and October 2nd. The first day he told the Classroom Instructor he had to go see someone. The second day he left early he said he had some business to take care of. Our Admissions Representative tried to explain to him the importance of the Classroom training information. Our Manager then spoke with him and told him that if he left now he would miss taking the final classroom exam and that he had to take the test before he could start the Practical field training in the truck. The Complainant became belligerent and yelled at the Manager that he knew everything that was going to be covered and that he would take the tests next week. He then leftOn October 7, 2015 (his 3rd day of Practical training) the Instructor was showing the students how to perform an In-Cab Air-Brake Safety Check that is required to be performed by the Student for a DMV Examiner to pass and receive a CDL from the State. The Instructor had the students perform the Air-Brake Check as required, but when it was the Complainant's turn he refused to do it.When they got out of the truck the Complainant went to a break area and immediately was on his phone. The Instructor informed the Manager about the situation and our Manager went to where the Complainant was and asked him about the Air-Brake Check. The Complainant informed the Manager that he did perform the Air-Brake Check. The Manager turned to the Instructor who was also there, and the Instructor informed the Manager that he did not perform the Air-Brake Safety Check. The Complainant then told the Manager that he did not perform the check because it was too late and he knew it 100% and that stuff was a waste of time. The Manager tried to explain to him that he had to perform that check without mistakes for the DMV in order to receive his CDL. The Complainant again became angry and belligerent and yelled at the Manager and Instructor that he knew the Air-Brake Check 100% and it was a waste of time.The Complainant then began verbally attacking the Instructor (who is Hispanic) and has been Instructing for several years. The Complainant said he could not understand anything he says. The Manager tried to calm him down, but the Complainant got on his bike and rode off yelling and screaming until he was gone.On October 8th, 2015 I received a message from the Complainant that he wanted to talk with me. I called him on his phone at about 9:30 AM and he told me he had problems with the Manager and Instructor in Stockton. I asked him if he would meet with me. He said that would be great. An appointment was made for that afternoon at 2:15 PM at the Stockton Campus. I waited until 3:45 PM, but he did not show. I attempted to reach him by phone, but there was no answer. I attempted to call him again later that evening but there was no answer.On the morning of October 9th, 2015 we received the complaint from the Revdex.com. The Complaint showed it was filed at 3:01 PM, which was after the time we had a scheduled meeting to discuss this.On October 12th. I received a message that he did not meet with me because he was waiting on State Rehab to buy him a new bike.I can only conclude that the Complainant has decided he is not returning to the program because he asked that funds be returned to the Department of Rehab. His Dept. of Rehab Counselor has been kept informed of the situation from the start. As of this time the Department of Rehab. has not yet been billed for anything as our billing is pro rated based on the amount of course completed.[redacted]President
