Review: I bought a mattress on 1/29/14 (delivered 3/1/14- receipt # 3917) at

Westfield sleep Center & kids furniture, located at 125 Elm street,

Westfield NJ 07090. Phone # 908-232-8060.

When I was shopping for the mattress I asked the sales man if the mattress

were made entirely the USA . I stressed that I did not want to buy it if it

wasn't made in America . He responded that all his mattresses were made in

Paterson NJ. I bought the mattress and shortly after when I was changing the

bed one day I noticed the tag that said cover made in China ... Filled in

the USA . I went back to the store and told the sales man I was disappointed

and felt misled and I want to return the mattress and get my money back. I

have been trying for a while to talk to owner of the store but he is never

available. The sales man explained that he can only give me an exchange

and I have to pay $100.00 for the exchange. I did not feel comfortable with this and he told me to call [redacted] to see if they could help me. They said they didn't understand why he said to call them. They have nothing to do with it. I feel it's unfair and at this

point I don't trust the store to make any kind of business. Please let me

know if I can be helped.Desired Settlement: I want to return the matress for a full refund.

The Westfield Sleep Center has always strives to keep good customer relations in all its dealings of over fifteen years of selling mattresses and furniture and is proud of its good standing with the Revdex.com.

[redacted] came to the store on several occasions to shop for a mattress and we talked at length about many different mattress options for her. She had spent several hours in the store in total before purchasing her bed. She was very thorough, trying out many different styles and asked a lot of questions prior to purchasing. When she asked me about where | get my Sealy, Stearns and Foster products from I told her they were made in the Sealy factory in Patterson New Jersey.

She purchased a mattress on 1/29/14 and she asked me “What if I don’t like it?"

l told her that her mattress had a 100 night comfort guarantee and she could exchange it for another mattress at a cost of $100.00 dollars (which covers shipping and transportation costs) for any other mattress that would be equal or greater in value , if the exchanged mattress is greater she would simply pay the difference in costs and there is no refund if she chooses a mattress that is lesser in value.

It was not my intent to deceive her in any way.

On the particular mattress she bought, it is in fact made in Patterson, but it has a removable zippered cover that can be washed, that comes from China. The cover is put on the bed in Patterson then sealed in plastic and finally , ships to me and gets delivered to customers like [redacted].

It is not the stores policy to offer a refund. If [redacted] would like to do a comfort exchange as we had previously discussed she still has that option.
