Hi there.  I filed complaint [redacted]

A while ago, I filed complaint [redacted] and the business did not respond.  As a last resort, I posted a review on [redacted].  The rooms manager contacted me the next day and has refunded me the money!  I wanted to update you.  [redacted] was the employee I spoke with, and she was extremely professional.  It was a very pleasant experience.

Thanks,
[redacted]

Review: I stayed the night of August 27. They double billed me for internet use. They promised to correct it and send me a new bill. After many, many attempts they refuse to even answer.Desired Settlement: Refund. Points on my starwood card to make up for the hours I've spent trying tried to resolve this.

Review: I booked a room at the Westin City Center for a conference in DC. Before I arrived, a coworker of mine called me and mentioned that the hotel was under construction and it was so noisy that he was unable to sleep the night before. While in the airport on my way to DC, I called [redacted] to see what I could do about the problem. I explained my situation, and the [redacted] reservations agent booked me room in another [redacted] property in the DC area. I asked if they would waive the penalty for not canceling 24 hours in advance. I was told by the person at [redacted] reservations that they had sent a message to the Westin DC Center to let them know of the situation, but that I would have to speak with them to ensure that the charge would be waived. I called and spoke with the hotel property, and they said I had to speak with the billing department. They transferred me and I left a message, explaining the situation and requesting a call back.

Upon landing in DC, I did not have a voicemail and so I called back. I got transferred to billing again, and no one answered again, so I left a message. I proceeded to the other hotel property where I had the reservation.

No one ever returned those messages from the Westin, so I assumed that the issue had been resolved. However, a few days later, the charge appeared on my credit card. I immediately called the property, and was transferred to billing. Again, no one answered, and I left a voicemail. And again, no one returned the call. I left another voicemail two days later. No return call. I even tried leaving messages for a different person in the accounting department. No on returned my call.

I understand that I canceled last minute and their policy states they must charge me. But I refuse to pay money to an company who won't even return a phonecall. Even worse, I have been a very loyal [redacted] platinum member since 2008. This is no way to treat anyone, let alone someone who is a very frequent and repeat customer.Desired Settlement: My credit card was compromised, so I have a new credit card company. you can either refund it directly to diners club under my new account number, or you can refund me with a check.
