Review: This is a scam involving a proposed loan. The company offers a loan but before you can receive it, you must send money western union to [redacted] in Maple, Ontario, Canada. This money starts with a collateral payment and then an insurance payment to protect against the loan. I finally woke up and accepted this was a scam when they asked for an allocation fee. The website is very professional and the employees are English speaking. A contract is sent as expected. However, when I started doing research, I do not believe the address listed is where they are located. I don't believe they have an office at all. They do not seem to be a registered business when I searched for them on the State of New York business search. When I asked about their location, the employees could not give me a straight answer. I've dealt with [redacted], loan agent and [redacted]. Also listed on the contract is [redacted] and [redacted]. This is a very well designed scam and I was uninformed about how these scams work. I know realize that no legitimate loan company will ask for money up front and especially not through Western Union to another country. From an online forum and search of their URL, I believe this website has only been active since April **, 2014 and it was created anonymously in Panama.Desired Settlement: Obviously since their location is a mystery and since I was dumb enough to send money Western Union, I am not expecting to get my money back. However, if this company is ever caught, I lost a total of $2538 US Dollars and obviously would be requesting a refund. I was told by [redacted] that a refund would be coming but I know that I will not. I posted a question on an online forum and found another person that has fallen victim to this same scam.

Review: I got an email from Westmont Capital Funding on April **, 2014 saying that your loan application was approved. Because they have a legit website & a phone system (automated record & ext), so I decided to contact them. I talked to [redacted] (one of their loan advisor), he emailed me a 8 pages loan agreement to sign and also I have to email them copies of my driver license & ss#. He asked me if I have any co-signer or collateral in order to quality, I said "no", and he told me there other option called "security deposit collateral" for the amount of $646, and I have to pay it. Then he emailed me the instruction payment letter, I had to wire money through Western Union to receiver name: [redacted], state: Ontario, country: Canada. He said the loan will be processed & deposited to my bank act within 4 hours after the wire. But I waited the whole day, nothing happened, next day morning I called him, after checking something, he told me the lender required the insurance due to a high risk customer, and he told me his company will share half of the price which is $741.32. Another wire to the same person, I still did not see any money in my bank act. Then, I called [redacted] back later that day, I was so upset, I requested to talk to his [redacted] whom name [redacted] said to me the company could not share half of the insurance, and I have to pay it myself in order to complete the loan. And after the third wire, 4 hours later, nothing happened still, so I called [redacted] back, and he told me because there was a wire fee (amount $675) that why the deposit got delay. He told me not to worry about the fee, this time his company will waive it, but I have to wait 3 business days before the fund released. "Or if I want to fund the same day, I have to pay the fee myself", he said. At that time, I realized might got scam, so I called the fraud dept, they showed me how to report it. Please help me catch those guys, bring them to justice, and it will be better if I could get my money back. Thanks...Desired Settlement: I really want to get my money back, but if not, I just want them to get arrested, so they won't be able to do it to other victims.I have all their emails, loan agreement, all the paperwork that they had sent me.I have three receipts for the wire from Western Union.I could provide proofs if needed.

Review: I was approved for a loan of 10,000 dollars. Due to my credit I had to put a deposit of 646.00 dollars down for collateral. The contract as well as the man on the phone told me once they received the deposit my loan would be in my account within 4 to 6 hours. The next day I received a call stating the lender needed insurance to be purchased noting it was optional on the contract I already singed. I declined was told my deposit was to be mailed to me within 7 days. It has been over 2 weeks still no money in mail. They must black list numbers since NOW no one will answer or return my calls. This has put me in an even worse financial spot, since that loan was meant for debt consolidationDesired Settlement: I want the security deposit refunded to me ASAP as was agreed by the company. If I do not receive a response or money in prompt manner I will be forced to take legal action.
