Revdex.com:This was a fraudulant replyThe owner is withholding more important information of the business between dealer and my husband and I, concerning the government w-form that was sent to dealers call phone, the night we had different lenders available to us from the dealer himselfMy husband had been in contact with bank since the device was supposed to be installed which we never informed of that night, and the bank was still waiting on paperwork from the dealer to be sent over because we were never in there systemAlso my grandmother was never a part of any of these conversations, and my husband's boss was always ready to verify employment but they never tried to contact himMy husbands boss is not my father, but they do have the same last nameObviously the dealer cant read well considering the night we were signing the paperwork he pulled up abother couples private credit scores and information to show usAlso I did get hung up on several times while calling to get information on what was going on with the carBut the car is paid off, we got the tires, and im glad I never have to deal with them againhave reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below

and your organization performs it well. The customer purchased his truck from us on March ,The truck is a Ford Ranger 4x2, cylinder, manual transmission, 113,miles at time of purchaseThe truck was traded in at our lot by a gentleman from Ligonier who purchased a door Chevrolet ColoradoHe took care of his truck and we made the decision to place it for sale on our lotPrior to doing so, we sent it out to an independent inspection station as we do all of the vehicles we retailThe truck required new brakes and rotors to pass PA State Inspection which we put on in order it pass State Inspection and was safeWe then rove the truck after it returned, cleaned it, then made it available for saleOur vehicles come with a highly rated AUL month or 5,mile power-train warranty (whichever occurs first) that covers all internally lubricated parts of the engine, transmission, and drive lineThere are more comprehensive warranties available at an additional charge however he opted to decline itApproximately a month later, Mr*** called the lot and explained his circumstance and was told that protocol is to have the truck diagnosed prior to doing any warranty work to itWe received a mixed version of what was truly wrong with the truck at first however I believe he relayed to us that it was probably a slave cylinder (which is usually not a problem to fix) however later we were told the clutch was out of itKeep in mind, the truck ran and drove wonderfully both when we traded it and whenMr *** purchased itThe warranty does not cover a clutch..,No warranty does unless it is a new car warranty and then it is only for mths or 12,miles under the new car warrantyReason? Clutches are wearable items and can go quickly and any timeNo one here accused Mr*** of not knowing how to drive a manual transmissionsThe truck was taken good care of by the previous owner Carl, yet it still had 113k miles on the truck we do not know the mileage on a clutch as one cannot tell. As to the leaking hose, apparently Mr*** noticed the leak at the mechanics shop while it was thereIt is quite possible something in the mounth he drove the truck struck or ricochet on a hose to loosen, tear, or rupture it. Prior to Mr***'s new revelation concerning the truck, I myself made a gesture of Good Will to purchase a slave cylinder if indeed that turned out to be the problem as longs as he would install it as he said initiallyThe offer we made was then revoked after he was not satisfied and began to insist the leak be attended to as well as other things. After years in the automobile business I have built a strong and lasting reputation selling thousands of cars, trucks, and vans to customers throughout the area who have remained repeat buyersI know we did nothing wrong and our good will gesture was turned away.Once again, I want to thank you for taking time to reach out to not only myself but being there for the consumers as well.Best RegardsKory ** S*** Westmorealnd Automobile

Thank you for contacting us concerning the complaint filed by [redacted] it is ft nice to have an outlet such as the Revdex.com to turn to as a complainant and as a business. We have always appreciated the approach your office has taken to assist in such matters. In order to address the complaint,...

I would like to address the issues raised one by one. The tires. The tires did need replaced and were ordered. No time did any representative make a statement like the one provided you in the complaint. The "device." The only lender we could obtain financing from was a lender who requires GPS and a starter interrupt to be installed in the event payments are not made. The lender requires us to have the device installed by an outside company. We did contact an outside vendor who unfortunately said they could install the device but sadly he was unable to complete the task after he saw what and how the device was to be installed. Incidentally it was not February 29, as there were not 29 days in this years' February. There is no way, ( repeat No way anyone in this company stated that it was the [redacted]'s problem now and not ours. We do not get paid by the lender until the device is installed hence it was always our duty, we need paid by the lender. There was no termination of their phone call abruptly as a hang up. Our representative did tell [redacted]'s mother or grandmother that he would be ending the call as her language was both loud, rambled, and vulgar including the use of the "*" word several times, I have always told my staff whether it be in this business or the restaurants I have owned that they should eat some crow no matter how ridiculous the customer is, but they need not sell out their integrity. I as owner have no problem with the way the call was ended as it included a reason why he was ending the call and he said goodbye. The numerous phone calls made by the mother or grandmother continued yet were and are unfounded,The true issue that was causing a further delay was the application made to the lender by [redacted], was unable to be verified by the lender. The employer never contacted the lender as requested, and the paystubs provided were deemed unable to be verified and suspect Each time the business manager from our office attempted to contact the employer to assist the lender he was unable. Finally, either [redacted] or her mother, or grand mother phoned us and to our surprise the caller I.D. listed the name of the employer that was placed on the application. The name on the caller I.D. was [redacted]'s father's business. Nothing made sense to the lender or us leaving us no choice but to retrieve the car.Lastly, [redacted] contacted us and made an appointment to pay for the Traverse. She did so by bringing her father with her to pay for it. He was very respectful and paid for the vehicle in full, they received the tires and the issue was resolved. There is a message that was saved on our voicemail should you like to hear the tone of voice along with the "*" word.I have been in this business since 1992 and have always had a solid reputation as evidenced by our longevity.Should you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at ###-###-####.Respectfully, Kory S[redacted]Westmoreland Automotive

with. It is a rigid job to do and your organization performs it well. The customer purchased his truck from us on March 15 ,2016. The truck is a 2001 Ford Ranger 4x2, 4 cylinder, manual transmission, 113,311 miles at time of purchase. The truck was traded in at our lot by a gentleman from Ligonier who purchased a 4 door Chevrolet Colorado. He took care of his truck and we made the decision to place it for sale on our lot. Prior to doing so, we sent it out to an independent inspection station as we do all of the vehicles we retail. The truck required new brakes and rotors to pass PA State Inspection which we put on in order it pass State Inspection and was safe. We then rove the truck after it returned, cleaned it, then made it available for sale. Our vehicles come with a highly rated AUL 3 month or 5,000 mile power-train warranty (whichever occurs first) that covers all internally lubricated parts of the engine, transmission, and drive line. There are more comprehensive warranties available at an additional charge however he opted to decline it. Approximately a month later, Mr. [redacted] called the lot and explained his circumstance and was told that protocol is to have the truck diagnosed prior to doing any warranty work to it. We received a mixed version of what was truly wrong with the truck at first however I believe he relayed to us that it was probably a slave cylinder (which is usually not a problem to fix) however later we were told the clutch was out of it. Keep in mind, the truck ran and drove wonderfully both when we traded it and whenMr [redacted] purchased it. The warranty does not cover a clutch..,. No warranty does unless it is a new car warranty and then it is only for 12 mths or 12,000 miles under the new car warranty. Reason? Clutches are wearable items and can go quickly and any time. No one here accused Mr. [redacted] of not knowing how to drive a manual transmissions. The truck was taken good care of by the previous owner Carl, yet it still had 113k miles on the truck we do not know the mileage on a clutch as one cannot tell.

I know we did nothing wrong and our good will gesture was turned away.Once again, I want to thank you for taking time to reach out to not only myself but being there for the consumers as well.

Review: Dealer will not uphold the 3 month warranty and accusations were made falsely that I broke the vehicle I have only had it for a month. And accused me of not being able to drive standard so that is why the clutch and slave cylinder went bad. Although my previous job required me to drive CDL vehicle daily. They were very unprofessional. And I called them back to tell them that antifreeze was pouring out of the front of my truck and they said that a rock probably came up and hit a hose and broke it. But the vehicle was just sitting in the parking lot when it started leaking. They said they would pay for the slave cylinder but now they will not.Desired Settlement: For the dealer to pay for parts and labor.
