Review: I signed a contract with Weston Ivy on September *, 2012. In this contract, they have to provide a set of services to help me applyto four American universities; I have to provide payment of3.000 euros which I did in September, 2012.I was immediately assigned a consultant, [redacted],who would be working with me until the conclusion of the contract. We decided on the four universities to apply to:NYU, Duke, Cornell & Fordham. His job was, for each university, to provide preparation work and a first draft of two letters of recommendation, a personal statement, an English CV and the translation of my transcripts.[redacted] then asked me to register for an online account with the Law School Account Council (LSAC). This organization certifies transcript translations and facilitateapplication for law schools. I thought that [redacted] would be facilitating the applications, so I did not understand why I needed to sign up for the complete service (I thought I needed only the portion for translation of my transcripts), but I did as he requested and paid an additional $300 to register with them.I am extremely dissatisfied for many reasons.- I was promised applications to four universities, and only two were submitted, neither correctly. Furthermore, these were not my first choice universities because he missed the deadlines for those and never contacted me about it. (From mid November to late January, he didnt answer any emails, and my phone call was never returned.-The application to Fordham University was submitted precisely on the extended deadline of April *, but the transcripts were incomplete, he didn't give me any chance to review the materials that he sent(and some things were done incorrectly),and he applied to a different program than the one I was interested in, without checking with me. In the case of the transcripts, he sent my application with two transcripts missing. ( I haven't finished my complaint but there are no more spaces available )Desired Settlement: For all these reasons, I wanted to be sure to inform you about thepractices of this person who works in this company in order to prevent them from doing the same thing to other people. You have seen above that their work and lack of work, compromised the law school application process for me: not enough universities applied to, incorrect applications, etc.As a result, I believe I am entitled to at least a partial refend because they didnt fully respect the contract.
