Review: For anyone who is thinking about having a wedding/shower/event at the Westwood Golf Club, I greatly discourage you! Many months before we were having a bridal shower, we met with [redacted] the event coordinator. She promised a certain brunch menu and got it completely wrong! The food was not even what we had agreed upon. Rather than potatoes they put out a pasta (with meat) that the vegetarians who attended the event could not eat. We chose a menu based upon our guests and their needs/wants. We asked to eat our meal at 1130 and they did not START bringing the food out until after 11:40 and invited guests up to the buffet at 12:00! It was a BRUNCH not a LUNCH served well after what they were supposed to. We had 49 guests of which I had to continuously tell the servers that the bread had run out for the sandwiches that were the main food on our menu. The servers did not come around for drink orders until the THIRD time that I asked. The cake was not cut until I asked twice. Then it was left on trays, rather than them serving it as we were promised. When I spoke with [redacted], she handed me a bill and said, "I'm not discounting this" We paid our bill as good people do. This event was an absolute embarrassment! The guests we had were left hungry and irritated. The food was WRONG. [redacted] showed her face one time, as the servers apologized and said they were very understaffed because they had a golf outing in the same place. We spent a lot of money on this bridal shower and were VERY disappointed and left speechless at the awful service and unprofessional attitude of all the workers. When I called the next day to speak with the chef, [redacted], he hung up on me because I said if we can not resolve this I would contact the Revdex.com. In addition, I could not get the owner,[redacted] phone number because they said "he doesn't come around much". I am left absolutely disappointed in their unprofessional attitude and behavior. If you have an event, I would NOT use The Westwood!Desired Settlement: We would like to be compensated a fair amount of $100 for this awful service and unprofessional attitude.
