Wexford Ace Hardware

Review: a [redacted] ad of Dec 5, 2013 for Wexford ACE Hardware store at [redacted] had Ace Wild Bird Food for $8.99 (Reg $10.99) SKU 81995 with a color picture of the bag of bird seed. This picture showed a 40 lb bag of bird seed which I thought was a good buy. I therefore drove many miles to the store just to buy the seed. Upon going to the shelf to get the seed, low and behold the store had 20 bags on the shelf for $8.99 not the 40 lb bags of seed as pictured in the ad. I consider this as a bait and switch illegitimate deceitful action. The store owner was not present and the clerk talked to the girl manager and said that they could not give me the 40 lb bag for the advertised price of $8.99 and that the SKU listed was for the 20 lb bag. Clerk was to talk to store owner and that I would be called. Well, they called and the store owner refused to comply with the advertised price.Desired Settlement: I would like the 40 lb bag of bird seed for $8.99. It should be noted that I have car expense getting there and will have that also to go back a second time to hopefully get the bag. Also, would like the store owner to promise to be truthful in future advertisements.
