Review: I bought a whirlpool side by side refrigerator/freezer ,in 11/2009. Ever since I bought it I have had trouble with the ice maker. They have put approx. 4 ice makers in it, and it keeps breaking. It has been broken this time for about a month .two techs from [redacted] ,has been out here. The first one thought it was a circuit ,he ordered one ,put it in and it still didn't work. They sent another tech, he ordered an ice maker, we are waiting for him to come back on 7/24/13 to put that in.so what can we do about it? I called the company and told them what problems I am having. They said that it was not a defect.so why do I keep having this problem. Can you help me?Desired Settlement: I would like for them to replace it I am tired of this problem.

Review: Whirlpool sent someone from [redacted] to come repair a washer on Dec 11 2013. The repair was done incorrectly, and the result was several pieces of ruined clothing, the pieces had holes in them. I called Whirlpool about the incorrect repair and an appointment was made for Dec 30 2013, I was told Whirlpool would send [redacted] back out to correct the repair between 9:00 am and 12:00 pm. At 12:00 pm I called [redacted] and was there was told by [redacted] or [redacted] (she gave me both names) there was no appointment scheduled by Whirlpool. When I asked to speak to a manager I was told I had no right to speak to a manager. After a awhile [redacted] or [redacted] said she would get me a manager and left me on hold for 25 minutes and then hung up on me. I then call Whirlpool at 12:05 and was told by a supervisor named [redacted] she could not find the appointment either, and was not concerned about how [redacted] conduct business for their customers. I was finally was given an other appointment for Jan 10 2014 by Whirlpool between 8:00 am and 5:00 pm incident #[redacted]. Someone did finally come and make the corrected repair, they had no concern about the damaged clothing or the incorrect repair in the first place.Desired Settlement: I have all the damaged clothing, and would like some kind of compensation for the damage.

Review: The Whirlpool refrigerators model [redacted] has been confirmed by the company's customer service (repair reference #[redacted]) for having a manufacturing defects. Also confirmed by our local service and repair facility. Whirlpool will not correct the problem without charging alleging the one year guarantee is expired. According to Bureau of Consumer Protection Agency a product with a manufacturing defects should have been recalled and fixed as soon as it was discovered. Whirlpool lack of response to our $200.00 worth of repair is irresponsible and unacceptable.Desired Settlement: send a repair representative to replace the defective part without a charge.
