*** *** ***I was unable to add this to the complaint, I think it was too long and kept getting an error message when I submitted:Exact list of complaint:
Residential Trim, Sills, Doors, etc- Railing, runners, and base pieces stained to match floor ($2,PAID)Mark on right railing where finish was damaged from my autistic son's toy, days after it was applied Ron tried to claim it took days to fully cure That was the first we heard of days and we doubt days would have made a difference There's overspray everywhere - including on our spindles, trim, carpet and wood work from downstairs all the way to upstairs The Finish is flat, we want to make sure that it will be robust Little to no wood prep was done prior to spraying on the finish of 10-year-old lacquered handrails, they weren't even cleaned first The Downstairs Railing no longer matches upstairs railing (much lighter) and both were supposed to match floor, but then upper railing got super darkLaborer left sharp exposed nail heads on the downstairs railing when he re-installed itThe Wood Trim on/around staircase - too flat of finish and rough to the touch It too was painted with a brush, whereas the service we paid for was supposed to be touch-less Residential Cabinets Color Change Opaque - Kitchen cabinet color change ($5,PAID)There were about cabinet doors that had the sheen and finish we requiredI learned through a second opinion that the finish was poorly done and the overlapping lines I saw weren't from the plainer, like Ron said, but they were from overlapping the clear finish spray The Cabinet Trim at floor was supposed to be painted - never was done There are numerous areas where the cabinet doors and frame need touchup as they don't have enough paint Again, we saw laborers with paint brushes, not the skilled trained technician conducting the 'revolutionary finish technique we were promised All of the End Caps are rough, look blotchy and not uniform (Laborer wiped on clear coat with a cloth and made a mess, then wasn’t touched again?) End cap near slider door - needs more paint and finish? Left and Right end caps on Island - More paint? A lot of this too was painted with a brush, whereas the service we paid for was supposed to be touch-less Residential Cabinets Color Change Opaque - Powder room color change ($PAID)Cabinet Doors are rough to the touch and don’t have any finish on themThey also need numerous touchups End Cap also rough and blotchyMost of this too was painted with a brush, whereas the service we paid for was supposed to be touch-less Residential Cabinets Color Change Opaque - Laundry room color change ($PAID)Four of the Cabinet doors above washer are very rough to the touch (unfinished again) and flat in color and don’t match the rest of laundry room Please match kitchen doors/ rest of laundry room End cap is also flat, rough to the touch, no finish on it Most of this too was painted with a brush, whereas the service we paid for was supposed to be touch-less Residential Misc/Other - shelves at stair case to match color of floors ($Estimate)Need more Paint - He said he would spray these shelvesInstead he had two laborers paint them with paint brushes No finish applied/or is visual Most of this too was painted with a brush, whereas the service we paid for was supposed to be touch-less Residential Other - Book shelves around fireplace to match color of floors or cabinets ($Estimate)These were NOT prepped prior to painting Scratches and imperfections in the wood are obvious the thin paint used is just so flawed without a spray poly finish Most of this too was painted with a brush, whereas the service we paid for was supposed to be touch-less Residential Trim, Sills, Doors, etc- French doors color change ($Estimate)Door needs more paint, Doors are flat and rough to the touch and needs to be taken off and poly sprayed Lacks the finish we require Sills are rough to the touch, no prep done prior to paining Most of this too was painted with a brush, whereas the service we paid for was supposed to be touch-lessAttachments
